The same exploit was public on EMS arround 3 weeks ago.
Most of the exploited items got deleted(though a few players still have those and are trying to selling them for real money) and many people who abused the exploit got link banned.
Getting rid of the slot hacked gear shouldnt be a problem, the deal is that the main issue of that exploit arent the slots.

As what ponsez mention, the overslot items itself are no big deal because they are detectable. The problem is the exploit itself.

They didn't remove all the hacked equips fyi. Only those detectable in aquila, not in other worlds.
Heard that the exploit is fixed anyway
