The sad thing is if you decided you dont like the Cygnus char you made and decide to delete it and make another to try a different Cygnus class you lose your bonus "Blessing" skill for your Cygnus, forever.

you also lose all of your cash shop items on your cygnus. it's really REALLY stupid.. they made it like the cygnus character is its own account; you can't transfer your cash shop items from one character to another. and if you leave all of the cash items you bought with the cygnus in storage before deleting the character, it's just like you deleted the account or something. the cash items just poof into thin air. >_>

This is why I'm gonna try to have 5 decent leveled accounts to make Cygnus from, so I don't have to choose.
So far I have level 123, 79, 60, 47, 31... which is enough to go through all the classes but only if I make 1 on a different server (Level 60 is on Broa)
I guess my level of preparation depends how long they take. I'm going to try to get a 2nd job Bowman on Bera at some point but right now I'm enjoying the Thief.

I thought Cygnus and parent char had the same name but i see you have a different name on your child.. i guess i was wrong..
which makes me wonder how it works with buddy slots, you say you get your old buddylist copy/pasted onto your cygnus but what about other people's cygnuses? do you communicate trough your parent's buddy database or wut?

The map at the top of the tree in Elinia that warps you to Sleepywood was not added b/c of Cygnus; it was added way back around in August. Only the NPC that gives you the Quest item was added.
Also, if you decline the invitation from Ninehart, you get a item called Ninehart's invitation, and when used, it warps you to Ereb.

I have a question, when you got to level 14 and met with the Cygnus representative in henesys and given the quest to kill 30 Cynical Orange Mushrooms, what do you do after? I mean once you received the reward for killing the mushrooms, what do you need to do for him after? I don't get what to do for the quest T_T >.<

It attacks like a normal summon. Hits 1-3 monsters.

and what level does Cygnus knights get their mounts? i thought the skill is only available at lvl 70? but i saw an SS showing the mount req lvl is 50?

I'm sure Isaac said the Blessing Summon also has a passive wep atk increase for your char when the Sprite is active...
7. Cygnus Character Slot - One Cygnus per server...I just noticed this. Sorry Stereo (and everyone) we only get one chance to choose a Cygnus char...choose wisely and with the right "Mother" char.
Unless you have those high lv chars on different accounts...
Sucks you cant have a Cygnus for every char you make on the one account.

and one more question.. can the fire sprite be replaced by ifrit?

its a rip off if ifrit replaces fire sprite since fire sprite is like the 'heart' of KoCs

One summon at a time. The sprites are great when you start out but start to lose use as you level. They are a first job skills after all. Ifrit is much stronger.

I found out that the Blessing of the Sprite and the Sprite Summon are different skills...Blessing gives the passive Wep/Mag Atk and the Active Summon (which attacks things itself) gives the Def.

The summon description mentions nothing about defence as far as I can tell. Just mp consumption duration and atk power. My def stat also doesn't change when I summon the sprite.

Your cygnus character will have 12 blessing and your main character will have 0 since your cygnus starts at level 1.
