I need to ask, why is mercedes hitting about 24.1 arrows per sec while bm is doing around 23.37? Isnt bm supposed to hit about 3 arrows per hit if AFA triggers and 2 if it doesnt? (with hyper split damage). Do they have some hidden attack speed bonus that I dont know about? Is Wind of Frey and inferno dot damage included here?

Wind of Frey's dot is included as 1 hit per second when it's active. Phoenix attacks significantly faster than Elemental Knights and hits twice. Elite Puppet itself also attacks. Mercedes also have to use Legendary Spear.

So why is legendary spear added to this if defense reduction doesnt matter? I know a lot of these things arent how it looks on paper. Because a lot of other things like abnormal status resistance and so on makes a big difference, but I just dont see a point to use legendary spear on a 0% def mob.

Off topic: Im not 100% sure how legendary spear def reduction works tho but, is it just like giving everyone whos attacking this target 40% more ignore def? (this shouldnt change my question above)

It does matter because it's one of the ways a Mercedes gets to deal 100% Defense Ignore. You would prefer the Mercedes have one line less of boss damage? Because I'm sure every Mercedes would prefer sacrificing the extra 100%/s and 1 hits/s to be able to have 40% more boss damage unless they actually hit 50m with each line of Ishtar and AFA without it.

I thought multiplicative was worse than additive?

in league, multiplicative is worse because each instance of a state multiples into the others. Armor Pen works this way

Shouldnt additive be better? where it is a simple 30% boss damage + 30% boss damage = 60%? where multiplicative would be 30% x 0.30 = 39% boss damage?

i may be mis-understanding how maplestory uses multiplicative

There was some sort of over reporting for Bow Masters, probably caused by Phoenix as that was the only thing I just changed, but they're doing ~400%/s less damage and a little lower hits/s now. The max/s went up because I'm adding the max damage that Phoenix can do though, which was previously reported as uncapped.

Multiplicative in this case means
(1 + Berserk_Bonus) * (1 + Boss_Damage_Bonus + Total_Damage_Bonus)
instead of
(1 + Berserk_Bonus + Boss_Damage_Bonus + Total_Damage_Bonus)

This baffles me, because I was sure that ABs got nerfed hard, and that the CMS version was weaker than the KMS versions. I find it crazy that Soul Seeker over Trinity alone would make ABs rack up damage so hard.

CMST probably took not nerfed KMS AB and lowered all %s/status resistance/speed/jump, but they left things like soul seeker being 4 orbs. That already makes it stronger than nerfed KMS AB who throws 2 soul seekers orbs. Also, not sure if it's a glitch, but the 80% regeneration for the newly made soul seekers makes it even more OP. They didn't think much eh.
I actually like nerfed KMS AB more than ours because trinity should not be that useless, soul seeker has its advantages and disadvantages on certain bosses so using trinity is actually good, and every job should have a decent number of status resistance, it was a more balanced job, not just a DPS job like ours with only 1 attack that matters.

I have it down for Heros that Chance Attack and Combo are multiplicative with each other and with Total/Boss Damage. Mikhail also has its Soul Attack multiplicative with Total Damage. I had tested Mikhail myself, but I'll look into it again to see if everything is working as expected because I have Soul Charge down as Total Damage, when Paladin Charges are a damage multiplier.

Having your own viewed damage should be fine. Just take your damage range before AB Link (Total Damage), and see if your damage is 1.6 * AB Link * range or (1.6 + AB Link) * range with whatever skill you want, though I think having Boss lines at Dojo is a lot more reliable.

I'm sorry if this is a noob question but I'm new to the %/s things and there is one thing I don't get.

If I'm understanding the chart correctly, %/s is how much percentage of their damage range a class can dish out. So for example, if mech had 10k dmg range, they would be doing 10049% of that which would be about 1bil. Am I understanding this correctly?

Also, if m/s is million dmg per second, shouldn't they be directly related to %/s since more %/s, more damage you would be doing. Why are the two in different order like merc ranking 37th on %/s but 3rd on m/s?

Again, sorry if this is a stupid question and doesn't make sense but I'm totally new to this thing.

1) 10049% is about 100x, so if your hypothetical mech had 10k range, 10049% of that is about 100x10k = 1m.

2) The reason for the difference is the damage cap. There is a point at which increasing your range won't increase your overall total damage output per minute, simply because all your hits are already capping. The point differs between classes because some have few big hits per attack, and some have lots of little (in terms of %) hits, each of which has plenty of room to grow.
