I should have been slightly more clearer, the + stats on equips can add on to the potential(besides MW), but is still flawed in the fact that all stat tends to have a lower % value than its single stat alternative. making characters who mostly focus on single stats advantageous in damage and leave the + stats on secondary on their armor solely vs a character who balances the stats between 2 or 3.(and talk about resell value of item is more limited as well)

Well from a design perspective because the game's level design is made around the idea that players attack while standing on a platform, or jumping close to one.
But considering this is Maple we're talking about probably because they just figured out how to do it.

The skill names appear to be identical to the leaked Automata names from a few patches ago, I'll go through them now (slowly, as I eat dinner).
If you watch the character creation video, you'll see after selecting Gender, you get to choose between 제논 타입 (Xenon Type) and 스우 타입 (Suu Type), and you can see the white hair on the Suu Type.
Additional Options is finally something that's amazing instead of just good. I found quite a large number of Unique and Legendary coloured Additional Option garbage that was like +20 STR +20 DEX + 15 INT. At least now I know what to keep.
As for the argument of what potential is better, assuming they're both weighted evenly for damage, a single focus would achieve higher damage. However, it's significantly more likely that your stats are distributed in such a way that the All Stat is superior due to Additional Options.
The idea that a single focus (i.e. +% LUK) would be better than All Stat only applies if you have an equal distribution of stats. i.e. 1000 LUK vs 500 STR + 500 LUK, +% LUK on the first case would be superior than +% All Stat on the second case. This should never happen though. You will not be able to apply all your stat points into one area so easily, whether it be because you need the STR to wear Pirate gear, DEX to wear Bowman gear, or LUK for Thief gear.
If you don't require any stats for equipment like Demon Avenger, then there is still the two issues of a) stat autoassign, and b) Additional Options. If you want to focus on a single stat, you would have apply each point manually, which isn't hard, but you also have to find gear with Additional Options such as +60 LUK instead of +20 STR +20 DEX +20 LUK. I actually don't think it's possible for Additional Options to spawn such a high stat, and it's definitely not possible for it to spawn a single stat that's higher than the sum of all three possible stats that you want. Given that a significant amount of gear already spawns +All Stat, it would be meaningless to try to go for something that spawns an equal amount of a single stat. i.e. Zakum's +15 All vs some impossible helm that spawns +45 LUK. Additional Options can also spawn +% All Stat. I've never seen a +% Single Stat, but I've only been playing for a day so I may just be unlucky.
tl;dr +% All Stat is superior to +% Single Stat.
Can anyone confirm whether or not it wears thief gear? I was stockpiling the garbage I found and I got some neat stuff that I'd want to use.
