It wouldn't be so bad if the characters were interesting. Outside anything Titan-related this series is actually pretty bland.

I hope there will be more titan-oriented stuff soon.

Shingeki no Kyojin thread - Saber - 2013-07-22

It has been pretty slow but going from where the anime is now, more action should be coming pretty soon. I skimmed the manga to the latest chapter and there's pretty much nothing but action from chapter 22 or so up until 47, give or take a few scenes. If I remember right, the anime's on ch20/21 right now? Am kind of scared about its ending though, if it does last 24-26 episodes. Sad

Ok guys it has been going slow, but its not like every chapter is filled with random nonsense. Its also moving at a 1 chapter - 1 episode speed which is equivalent to 4 Naruto chapters per episode. Now I don't read much montly manga so I wouldn't know how fast their animes progress in comparison but I doubt they are much faster. It's slow but definitly not "OH MY GOD THIS IS SO pineappleING SLOW".

Okay, I just got into this series and recently caught up. I've never read the manga, so I know nothing beyond the anime and I have to say that I absolutely love it so far. While I can't judge on the pacing like the manga readers have, I think it's doing a lot better than Dangan Ronpa, whose pacing is very obviously way too quick in my opinion, and I haven't even played the game to know. I personally think the pacing on this show is fine for a non-reader. BUT THAT'S JUST ME.

Though if there really are 25 episodes and the manga is still going, I'll have to agree that that is a bit worrying. I would read the manga but I've never been a manga person, especially when it comes to online reading. Sad

I think I've found the reason this anime frustrates me so much is the release time. See, this manga isn't as bad as other anime's where they cock tease the whole mystery of the story, but when you get one month issues of 40 pages with very very limited new information, it just feels like a waste, like it's a weekly release. Deadmans wonderland did it right, they left NEW cliff hangers and answered majority of the questions post in the last one. Seriously I just read 25 pages of them going "JUST UNDERSTAND ME", like the last goddamn chapter.
