I think the Bayonetta rage is because it's incredibly annoying to console jump on a sequel to a game, especially when it becomes an exclusive.

It's not like it's even a first for platinum games though. You didn't see huge rage when the sequel(semi arguable, I suppose) to madworld, Anarchy Reigns jumped from wii to PS3/360.
Bayonetta 1 was a good game, not my normal choice of gameplay, but still. It being on Wii U rather than 360/ps3 is undoubtedly better than the franchise staying dead, which it would have if sega was left in charge.

I don't think the argument should be about which console it's jumping to in particular, I think it's simply about the fact that most normal people only own one console and if they really liked a game, they're getting fucked out of the sequel. Though it's definitely especially annoying when it's jumping to a console that's brand new and $300 (minimum).
I know I was and still am pissed about Tales of Vesperia being on the XBOX360 after a history of playstation and nintendo releases. I'm sure first time Tales players on the xbox were equally ragey when Graces F ended up on the PS3.

But the option was no sequel since Sega wouldnt front the cash. Or Nintendo steps in and there can be a sequel. Either way all those who wont buy a Wii U would have never got to play Bayonetta 2 anyway. So they have lost nothing while the rest of us gain something. If they must rage then it should be directed at Sega.

Time for Nintendo to step in again and revive Megaman on the Wii U then. A Legends 3 on the Wii U would be awesome.

A game is only going to be 60, and a Wii MotionPlus is 15-20 depending on where you buy it.

Problem there is capcom does most (all?) of it's own publishing, unless they were licensing out an i.p. like when they made the Zelda Game boy games, they're unlikely to be interested in any offers like that

I wonder, can't nintendo like finance the Legends (or any other) proyect with the condition of sharing part of the profit and it being an exclusive to their console. I honestly know nothing about whats going on behind Bayonetta but sounds like Nintendo and Platinum games are doing just that.
Capcom seems like the kind of company whose premise is to make the most money out of the smallest investment, thats why they are so hesitant to release new tittles and only bet on games with an already solid fanbase (which then takes any sense of what they did to megaman fans). There is no loss in that for any of the parties, Nintendo lures Megaman fans to the Wii U and Capcom gains back some face with its customers

Well, they are bringing MH3U to Wii U because Nintendo is using their own servers for the online (And shutting MHtri ones at the same time sadly....). So I guess that what you are saying is possible, maybe Nintendo doesn't really need it at the moment (maybe because wii U is the only next generation console in the near future or because they are saving big announcements for when the other consoles are released or rival companies's games are announced) or because Megaman is really expensive to make, It'd be as expensive as making an HD zelda, even more, and let's face it Megaman's image has been damage over the years by a lot and Legends 2 was only released on Ps One and that was 12 years ago. Now, If they plan to do a reboot of the original Megaman (the Good 2D one), I'd totally buy it and I think Capcom would agree on that.
