If they do that...that would be amazing. Because, it's like the one enemy the doctor never defeated. However: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Great_Intelligence

Razmos Wrote:One thing that my dad noticed, which I didn't at first, is that Clara's "Around the world" travel book had a year of her life crossed off from 10-24, but age 23 was missing.

Age 16 was missing too.

Anyone else notice who the author of the book called Summer Fall was? Biggrin

Edit. Are my eyes deceiving me or is that Amy wearing a pirate hat in the huge poster on the building in Japan? :f6:

I'm really liking Clara, but I hope the next companion is a bit more different. Amy was quite wild and Clara is very cheerful and bubbly, but both of them are very fast talking, both flirty and challenging and I dunno, I think i'd prefer a more quiet companion.

I'd really like to see a pretty Asian/Indian girl with glasses, who is intelligent but starts off not being cut out for travelling with the Doctor, maybe she is forced to travel with him or something. Rose, Martha, Amy and Clara have all been very adventurous and willing. something different would be quite nice.

EDIT: I suppose a female version of Rory, now that I think about it. Rory without being overshadowed by somebody like Amy.

Sounds more like some secret fantasy of yours. Ha ha ha, no.

Tomorrow is apparently National Fish Fingers and Custard day.

I did not know this.

The Doctor should just find his old pal Frobisher when Clara leaves. :p

Yesterdays episode (which I only managed to watch today) was shockingly bad. Matt Smith was mediocre in this episode, with his voice ranging from hard to hear mumbling to hard to hear shouting. Jenna-Louise Coleman was probably the saving grace of this episode, and the only part of the episode which actually kept my interest was Clara's backstory (which was really well done in my opinion, all the feels), the TARDIS not liking her (what is she?) and the ending with the leaf, which actually choked me up a little bit because of the way she delivered the speech.

It's kind of weird having a companion that the TARDIS rejects, I can see this being a problem later on, especially since I think we have an episode that goes deeper into the Tardis later in the series.

Also, the Vigil were creepy as pineapple. those voices and the way they all tilted their heads at the same time. brrr. Grandfather was creepy too, I wish he had been the villain of the episode and not the big.. evil star thing.

Not much to add that hasn't already been said about yesterdays episode. I enjoyed it but no where close to the first part of this season.

This, this, this. Future Oswald was great, Past Oswald was even better, but Present Oswald is just meh. Sometimes I like her, but other times it's like, "no, no, no. This retard is crap."

Found this comment on another site about the episode. I think this sums the episode up nicely.

The end baffled me, no resolution to what happened at all. Tongue

Truth be told, I think I liked this episode more than the last. The end was rushed a bit, but I thought it was a good one.

OK, now this is what I want! This week's episode is way, way better. It's scary, has a great new villain, and takes place on Earth (because as great as alien worlds can be, Earth-located episodes are much better). This (half of the) season is definitely taking a turn in the right direction.

Ice Warriors first appeared in a 1967 Patrick Troughton serial, so they're far from being new. Or were you just referring to Skaldak?

I have to disagree with the Earth-located episodes being better. I enjoy seeing the Doctor actually take his companions to weird planets, instead of Earth or some random space station. The writers can do so much more with an alien planet than Earth. At least Moffat is way better than RTD when it comes to showing alien planets. Even when RTD took us to another planet, it usually felt too much like Earth...

Doctor Who - Series 8 - Razmos - 2013-04-14

My favourite settings in Doctor Who would have to be the more claustrophobic ones, like the submarine in this episode, or "Midnight", "The Impossible Planet" + "The Satan Pit", "The God Complex".

One of my all time favourite episodes though has to be "Turn Left". It managed to be one of the best episodes ever, despite being an episode without the Doctor, and focusing on Donna, who is probably the most overlooked companion.

By the way, does anyone else LOVE the Series 7 Part 2 theme music? It's like an awesome mixture of the classic doctor who theme with more badass modern Who qualities.

Well, I've only watched NewWho, so he was new to me, and even if he wasn't new, he was a less common villain than say, the daleks.
