A heartfelt plea - Corn - 2012-03-19

Any way to enable ads for donators like me? Trololol.

A heartfelt plea - Mazz - 2012-03-19

Done! All of the ads for me are for advertising services. Viva la SP

A heartfelt plea - Foxino - 2012-03-19

Was never off Smile

Sure, as an extra special donator work around go visit the ad test page three times for every page you visit during the day.

Sorry, but what is white-listing ads? Is that making ads visible on for example Southperry.net? I've never disabled ads on SP. Shame that SP's revenue isn't high enough.

A heartfelt plea - Remoir - 2012-03-19

*Disables ads on Southperry.net

I just realised Fiel has turned into a brony.

Ontopic:

Disabled ABP for Southperry before like twise, for w/e reason it blocked it again and didnt unblock it until now. SP is the only site I have whitelisted for now... ads do indeed slow down page load times.

A heartfelt plea - Leaves - 2012-03-19

Is it likely that most of this lost revenue comes in the form of Guests who block ads? If so, I am doubtful that this can be changed.

A heartfelt plea - Kalovale - 2012-03-19

People should do this for the safe sites they visit often, too.

All sites except ones with obnoxious ads, really.

A heartfelt plea - Arrg - 2012-03-19

Never really bothered getting ABP on chrome, so i've been contributing.

The unregistered see the chinchilla banner and this thread just like everyone else.
They have as much opportunity and potential to help as any registered person does.

Just because they choose not to interact does not mean they don't feel fondness for us and want to see us succeed.

On the bright side for those looking for a status report; We've nearly doubled the revenue today compared to the past few days. The largest driver of that seems to be a surge in clicks more than a surge in impressions though, so we'll see how well we sustain that increase once the initial clamor to help dies down.

Ugh, pineapple, now I feel all bad and pomegranate.

Disabled ABP for Southperry.

A heartfelt plea - ResistGreen - 2012-03-20

Turned it off,

Online dating for people 45+, who do they think I am?! :o

A heartfelt plea - IImaplers - 2012-03-20

As Whitney Houston once said:

I believe the chinchillas are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way

OT: I have no idea how to alter No-script on my firefox to not block anything on this site Tongue. Alas I shall go on IE and click a bunch of ads for the hell of it :]

A heartfelt plea - bast963 - 2012-03-20

I will turn on the ads for this site, if it's for the sake of keeping this site alive. Sleepywood is pineappleing dead, GameFAQs Maplestory general board is full of argument fetishists and is more dead than this forum (but more alive than sleepy), and Basil is a flaming piece of pomegranate.

However, don't expect me to load any crappy flash 11 ads that loop constantly and chew up half the damn cpu while onscreen and 10% offscreen. Those should never see the light of day.

A heartfelt plea - ChaosCorpse - 2012-03-20

KaidaTan Wrote:To anyone who uses NoScript, do you guys know how to whitelist ads for this site? Because the only way I can see it as possible is whitelisting every possible add source, and even after I do that (which is probably impossible), those sources would be whitelisted on every site, not just here. NoScript blocks the source of the ads it seems, not the page the ads are on.

Locked Wrote:There is no possible way to do it, it's actually really annoying. I unblocked Googlesyndication and then 5 different ad sources came up. Having to do it everytime seems troublesome and disappointing that we can't set it to specific sites.

KaidaTan Wrote:Yep, that's the problem I ran into. Sorry Eos!

Ditto, sorry about it, but I at least get the message. If they ever make a solution to have specific "Support" tagged sites where only for that specific site is the No-Script service is disabled, I'd be glad to jump on board. Unfortunately, I'm a many tabbed browser, and trying to keep 12+ tabs and Minecraft open at the same time with every site's ads displayed on this comp seems impossible. Also, ADHD. Hell, some animated sigs here even get an odd beat or rhythm stuck in my head even when I'm not directly looking at them. Can't really ignore them in general like most people.

A heartfelt plea - Kunagisa - 2012-03-20

I just downloaded adware just for you, sweetie.

A heartfelt plea - Solarboy - 2012-03-20

Always had them enabled. Always will.

I never found ads on Southperry to be as annoying as they are in other sites, where they basically throw them in front of your face.
