People really can't read the "As of" column.
Status hasn't updated since 13:08. That's almost an hour ago, if I haven't messed up my timezone-conversions.

Saw that right after I posted but since I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be my timezone dismissed it, but seeing how it hasn't changed in about an hour I guess I'll hop along the "why isn't the status updating?".

How would that defeat the purpose of the latency?
It's always told you what the latency was as of when it was tested.
It's never been some magic thing that checks every single address every time you go to the page.

As far as I recall it didn't check every 5 minutes, maybe leaning towards the 1 minute range.

Yes, yes it is.
I do wish you'd stop making assumptions on what it's doing and how it works.
It just makes you that much more annoying when you start seeing that it doesn't and cry that it's broken.

In order for it to run every minute it would quite literally have to never stop hammering the servers.

Eos went multi-process, I'm assuming.
Problem with that is now the "as of" column seems to indicate everything is up-to-date, when in fact the higher-numbered channels haven't been tested in a minute or two, so they seem green when they aren't.

Your supposition is completely flawed. The As Of date is always the latest per server, whether it's going one server and one channel at a time or all servers one channel at a time. The only difference is instead of them timing out one by one over the course of 15 minutes they blink out collectively left to right in < 6.

In both cases you'd see the latest date of each world being tested.
