Why did I pick a Bucc again? ._.

Definitely this.

Defense is obviously going to be higher when they have double of it.

Defense and hp are irrelevent when they don't have invincibility frames OR hp healing. (both invaluable at pot cooldown)

Anchor has s'hit duration. Only useful for damage at bosses with it's huge range.

More importantly, why don't you know anything about what makes a bucc good?

Invin frames + healing alone don't really do much justice for a Bucc. I admit staying alive is nice, but it's staying alive better vs more damage. Still bottom tier at bosses when others can deal more damage or has more utility. Pot cooldown? Abuse that Cannon Backshot and Cannon Jump to gain distance.

*points to Bucc IGN*

yeah man, that dead hero is invaluable. Also the chances of buccs losing almost none of their more "unique" perks and just getting straight buffed in terms of damage in their restructuring is really high.

Not to mention that Vipers aren't exactly using their invulnerability frames 100% of the time. One foul smack and you're dead, where as the ranged character sitting behind you, firing their cannon, tanks the hit and keeps going.

Invulnerability frames are hardly relevant when your skill that you're going to be using the entire time has a huge window which leaves you open to attacks that can drop you dead in an instant.

better make sure your iframes are up when that skill rolls around then huh.

I'll rejoice for the Bucc if/when the Pirate Jump changes arrive. There's a reason I gave up my 169 Bucc and moved on to another class. Besides, sure the Bucc can live with the iframes, but then what about everyone else? The end-game bosses are designed around being a total pain but it doesn't cater to Buccs being able to remain invincible all the time, because that wouldn't be fair to all the other classes. If the game relied on Buccs being invincible to take down a boss, then that's a horrible design.

On the plus side, they use strength, so if you have %str equipment for your bucc you can transfer it over easily enough... Though I'd be happier if the other pirate classes got some of the Jump-esque modifications instead of them being given to a gaiden character class.

There are SO SO SO SO many things wrong with what you are both saying, and i would love to prove you wrong, but i'm on a phone right now. You'll just have to take solace in the fact that i think you are completely wrong until i can properly reply.

How am I completely wrong? How are you going to use invulnerability frames when Demolition is coming to an end? You can't move, you can't attack again -- you're stuck! You're wide open to attack and if the boss attacks, you're going to die if it does more damage than you have HP. You'll drop dead in an instant because your attack left you wide open to attack.

Unleashing Wrote:what buffs is it that give them 120 attack? When i check it adds up to 50, not 120. Lol
I used the stats from PeePeeAyeDeeKay.
I see 20 from Buildup Cannon
Plus 30 from Cannon Damage Mastery (not sure which skill this equates too...)
Wait.
How did I get that...
I'm so confused.
OH
LOL
I think I might have counted the allstats as wAtt/mAtt.
Whoops.
My bad.
Thanks for catching that.

The 3rd job skills look more interesting than the 4th Job skills.

Hahahahaha in our dreams.

Hahahahaha in our dreams.

It might share a CS with DB's.
That would make (some) sense, after all.
They do take their slot on the new character screen.
I see a group of über-adventurers, all swagtastic upgrades of their basic superclass.
Also, Fiel, do DB's have the "master swimming" skill as well?
That might indicate more for my theory...

This might be interesting. Can't say yet if I like them or not. I do have to say I'm disappointed at how they hold the cannon, I was expecting them to hold it more like a Gatling gun, instead of having it on their back and over their shoulder for attacks.

The thief and pirate revamps are clearly up next. The extractions show the event boxes for new thieves and pirates that reach levels 10, 20, and 25, just like the boxes for the other already-revamped adventurers.

I'm not really all that impressed. I see way too many similarities to previous classes and nothing new really being introduced. As impressive as the new ultimate is to look at, I'm annoyed that yet another class gets an ultimate. Has anyone noticed that just about everything introduced after cygnus has an ultimate?

Nice find!
Now I'm excited for next patch's Thief Revamp Smile

DB doesn't have one anymore.

Cygnus/Legends/Resistance don't even share a cash shop. I just can't see these having a shared one with anything, especially since they have their own slot on the login screen.

Which everyone is happy about.
No (adventurer) thieves or archers do, and only pallies do for warriors. I don't see super transformation as a ultimate, really. I wish Nexon would kinda do away with the ultimates, and focus on making the actual skills better. I notice that classes don't really use their ultimates. They suck for bossing, and do little/no impact for regular training (except LHC, where they are somewhat useful)

They still did though. The flying nautilus makes no sense to me. they turned it into one of those japanese mechas that can transform into any vehicle. Next, it will turn into a megazord.

Since all Resistance job got an ultimate, that kinda guarantees an ultimate for their warrior.
