[1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Chameleonic - 2008-10-11 I think it goes like 10 normal refined crystals + meso = 1 low 10 low refined crystals + meso = 1 mid 10 mid refined crystals + meso = 1 high [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Cyanne - 2008-10-11 Yeah, that's right. 10 Normal refined + 103k = 1 low 10 low + 103k = 1 mid 10 mid + 516k = 1 high 10 Normal refined black/dark + 155k = 1 low black/dark 10 low black/dark + 155k = 1 mid black/dark 10 mid black/dark + 775k = 1 high black/dark This means you need 1000 refined crystals to make 1 high grade crystal, by the way. That's 10000 ores. blitzkrieg Wrote:It doesn't really change things that much, the prices of all the crystals will still be the same.. mid-grade cost ~3.5m each on my server while high-grade cost ~40m. I'm just worried that the availability of mid-grade crystals will be significantly lower :x These prices seem really low... are you talking about diamonds? In global, dark/luk crystals are already starting to approach 3.5mil without even grading them yet. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Worthyness - 2008-10-11 Poor ripped archer skills =( great, another soon to be powerful class (possibly). Looks intersting, but you'd think that Nexon would make another branch for Archers of thieves before Pirates... I doubt these skills are add ons. If they were, this would totally blow other classes out of the water. Infighters looks strong already and allowing them access to even more power would definetly tip the scales. I'm glad they are making another possible class, but please use some originality for god's sake. Just putting new animations over already created skills is a little, unimaginative. Mind control was a great new idea from Nexon, but it's not practical. I would like to see something new, not just the animations. They look nice tho 0_O [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Russt - 2008-10-11 Cyanne Wrote:Yeah, that's right. Not necessarily. To my limited knowledge, it's not a good idea to convert 10 refined to 1 low, since by grading those 10 jewels the worst result you can get is 10 low grade. That or I misunderstood, and this new conversion system replaces the old grading system? [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - IsaacGS - 2008-10-11 Cyanne Wrote:Yeah, that's right.yeah that doesn't make any sense. It probably means you can turn 10 ores into a regular ungraded gem. It was annoying before, because you couldn't refine ores "in the field". You always had to run back to the NPC to do that. If you gotta go back to the NPC every time you want to forge something, what's the point of having it as a skill? If it's refining ores that would be very convenient as it's something it should have been able to do from the beginning. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Stereo - 2008-10-11 Cyanne Wrote:Yeah, that's right. That's cause right now it's 90 low, 9 mid, 1 high in 100 refined. (or so) If it's like you said, then it'll be 90 low, 9 mid, 1 high in 3000 refined. 40*30 = 1,2 billion per high. This still seems like it'll rape low/mid availability... instead of 100 refined turning into 90 low 9 mid 1 high, it'll be turned into 1 high. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Cyanne - 2008-10-11 Oh, I see, I was under the impression that it replaced the old system. Good to know that there's something to do with the masses of low grade crystals. In global, dark/luk crystals are already starting to approach 3.5mil without even grading them yet. I was talking about stat crystals. Diamonds are a lot lower.. People don't even bother selling low-grade, and mid-grade cost ~500k each, while high-grade diamonds cost about 9m. I bet it'll be even lower on gMS due to APQ. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? Those are the ones that give attack aren't they? [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Russt - 2008-10-11 They are, but they're comparatively more common and can only be used on weapons. Stat crystals can be used on every piece of equipment, so in theory if you used two high grade stat crystals (1 str, 1 dex, or the equivalent) on each of top, bottom, glove, and shoe, you'd gain 40 stats. Whereas the maximum gain from diamonds is only 3 attack. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Granada - 2008-10-14 This is VERY interesting! But i am kinda comfused, is this like "beta" skills, which wont be added, or is it skills that is prepared to be added to the game? [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Fiel - 2008-10-14 Granada Wrote:This is VERY interesting! That question will only be answered with time. Nobody outside of Nexon Korea knows. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - CapnMush - 2008-10-14 That greenish-yellow color reminds me of briney water. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Harrisonized - 2008-10-14 Wow. Lame. They don't bother making any new skills. Is it that Nexon ran out of imagination or are they trying to screw up the other classes? [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Sparky242 - 2008-10-15 Out of imagination? I think they did a great job aesthetically. I wonder what the other element might be, if it gets one :3. Poison jellies? [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Rigumaro - 2008-10-16 ![]() By the way, this skill looks like that dark ball monster you have to fight in a Nautilus quest. Maybe it's a hint that it's related to pirates. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Alloy - 2008-10-16 UHM... this is just a theory... but a summoner class was discussed somewhere some time ago... So far, it seems to fit. As a pirate branch, I mean. [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates? New pet! - Baklava - 2008-10-16 http://www.insoya.com/bbs/zboard.php?id=bbs12&no=269 I don't know what it really says, but I can read that; There's some kind of Knight Recruit thing and each special job gets an element Warrior - Light Magician - Fire Archer - Wind Thief - Darkness Pirate - Lightning [1.2.170] Elemental Pirates?
