Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - ElectricSix - 2010-11-02

Day 2 Ends:

Inspector Burgundy Jack surveyed the crowd. Another missing card had returned, obviously suffering some sort of side effect from some drugs. It seemed some card or other out there was up to something, but he was still far too busy with the murders to look into it. After quite a bit of arguing, and some rather odd voting, he addressed the crowd of cards once more.

Quote:So you've all decided then? That TKWizard is the likely suspect for the murders? Or was it Corn you suspect?

Some more arguing occured, but a majority decided finally.

Quote: So be it, I will send him to the Scrap Pile personally.

The Inspector, armed with his official scissors, advanced on TKWizard. Several other cards held him down as he cried out that he wasn't a murderer, just a regular card. The Inspector efficently ended it with one snip, and began to examine TKWizard.

Quote:pear TKWizard:

You are the Grey Two. You’d think you’d be the number two guy to the Ebony Ace, but that jerk never calls you back. In fact, you’d say he was downright missing for a while. Of course you could confront him about it, but . . . let’s face it: You’re just a super weak regular card. You can try and blame it on not being black enough, but the truth remains that you’re just plain weak. Still, you can win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

The Inspector shook his head sadly, he had killed an innocent card. Still, he knew they had done the right thing today. No one else should have to take on the burden of killing another card. They hadn't caught the killers yet, but they were surely out there somewhere, and he was going to track them down and cut them up personally. The cards shuffled nervously around him, unhappy with the role they had played in an innocent card's death. He knew he had to take charge of the situation as usual.

Quote:It appears he was telling the truth and we have chosen wrong. Though we mourn his loss, let us take a lesson from this; that the killers are still here, and we must get rid of them before any other innocent cards must go to the scrap pile.

TKWizard died today, his time cut tragically short by the Inspector's special scissors.

Night 2 Begins now. Be sure to send in those night actions!

Just figured I'd put a heads up that there's only 4 more night action PMs needed, so whenever I get them all I'll start the next day. Whether that be later on tonight or tomorrow sometime.

Still missing 2 Night Actions with a little around 5 hours left. T_T

Night 2 Ends, Results will be out shortly:

At dawn the cards were pleasantly surprised. Not a single card was missing or dead. The happy smiles and knowing looks made it rather obvious that pairing was where it was at last night. The Inspector was a bit bemused by this, but happy. He did notice one card seemed a bit beat, as in physically beaten, but when asked, he seemed to say it was just a scratch, a mere flesh wound if you will. The Inspector looked a bit dubious about that, but as usual, he felt the murders were of top priority.

Quote:Well we're lucky no innocent cards died last night, but I'm sure the killers are still . . .

Inspector Burgundy Jack was interrupted by some screams from other cards. z0mgc00k13 was back among the living, seemingly no worse for wear.

Quote:What!? How are you alive!? I saw you torn to pieces!

z0mgc00k13 simply smiled and answered easily.

Quote:I got better.

At this point the Inspector and the other cards were all very confused. Finally, after quite a bit of discussion, the Inspector spoke up to reason with him.

Quote:Cards don't just get better after being shredded! It's not like a tiny papercut or folded edge!

z0mgc00k13 seemed flummoxed by all the people's confusion and just said the obvious . . . again.

Quote:Well I got better so there.

The Inspector sighed and decided they had spent enough time on discussing this, there were still killers about after all.

Quote:Alright alright, we'll deal with this later. More importantly we must decide whom we'll vote to send to the scrap pile today.

Day 3 Begins now. Let the votes be cast and be sure to welcome back z0mgc00k13! XP

Hmmm, Necromancer? Or maybe a magician (cutting was an illusion? Maybe the dead card was a decoy and cookie just hid/disappeared)?

Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Corn - 2010-11-03

Alright guys, time to explain myself.

I ROLECLAIM THE townie hooker. No, I wasn't under any I-can-only-vote or anything speech. I was trying to bluff a "mute" role to secure my innocence, because quite frankly, I thought I was Mafia when this game started, so I planned this entire scheme. But I wasn't. I decided to use my plan anyways to hilarious results.

Anyways, I told everyone to vote for TKWizard because he voted for me. That's it. And I was trying to get everyone to NOT vote for Synthesist because he's not Mafia. I seduced him one night, but the murders still happened.

HOWEVER, I seduced MetaSeraphim tonight. No one apparently got killed today. So I'm betting big bucks that's he's Mafia.

Of course, I'd have to die to prove that.

--I think the murders only stop if you get the "head" mafian.

--Someone was in a scuffle of sorts. I'm inclined to think there's still protection out there, as one card had an encounter of sorts. But because I'm open to possibilities, I would accept that the scuffle victim was you.

--How can you not know if you're mafia or townie? Did you not read your role carefully?

And no I don't speak in bullets >_>

*sees Blaine lurking the streets*

-Maybe I did get the head Mafian D=.

-A lot of people were apparently watching MetaSeraphim and me.

-The title of the PM had "Mafia" in it, so I got excited >_>. I don't read carefully.

I. . . I. . . was a virgin! *sobs curled into a ball rocking back and forth*

I am not a mafia killer, or even part of the mafia. I am the Charcoal Black Eight, and I am an ally to the townies. If I don't get voted off today a cop can feel free to check me out tonight to confirm I am telling the truth.

Also, while I admit it doesn't really prove anything since E6 could have messed with it, Corn and I are in the same Mason.

Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Manu - 2010-11-03

And there I was thinking Corn was a mute-insane detective... guess not mute nor detective.
I apologize for not posting, VERY busy days until friday, but I'll be as active as I can.

Anyway, for now I'll vote for MetaSeraphim since it's the only lead we have.

Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Corn - 2010-11-04

If MetaSeraphim turns out to be innocent feel free to kill me.

Mine you Dark, why aren't you voting for me? I'm more suspicious.

Some suspicion that might lead to loosing the prostitute
or some suspicion that might lead to loosing a NN...
As I said, this if for now, if Meta defends or something, I can change my vote.

What I said is as much as I can say, there is no other way to defend myself. I am telling the truth when I say I am a ally to the townies, you can either keep me alive and have a cop check me out tonight, or kill me off today and find out I guess.

[vote] MetaSeraphim until further notice.

Corn is most likely telling to truth in someway about being a hooker, maybe he is talking to them (Which is possible since he is in a Mason with people besides myself) since there is no way he could know I was seduced last night since I didn't say anything until after he did.

Hmm. I don't see me saying that anywhere. Thanks for clearing that up, though.
This is also a very interesting conundrum btw - there are apparently 2 hookers.

Yes, for good reason, and within a few moments of posting. I would appreciate you fixing your quote.
