Attack Speed Reference - Dusk - 2008-12-04 Stereo Wrote:Yeah, but that's not how Paladin damage works o.OOh, I didn't realize it was being applied to the sword as well. My bad. I need to read better, I thought you were talking about the BW/Axe. JoeTang Wrote:No, Assassins don't have a 0.9 built in to their minimum range. It's exactly 0.50.5/9*0.9 = 0.50. I'm standardizing the way mastery works because their is no 0.9 in the Assassin formula. You can't say Assassins have 50% mastery and Bandits have 60%, because there's a difference in the way mastery applies in the calculation. If you'll notice, Damage min is equal to half of damage max. Attack Speed Reference - Russt - 2008-12-04 I'd rather say that sins have 50% "mastery" and bandits 54%, personally. That way you can eliminate a *0.9/0.9. Changing one value for NLs makes me happier than changing a value for every other class in the game. Should we start saying archers have 81% mastery, DrKs have 72% mastery, Meso Explosion has 90% mastery, 1st job classes have 9% mastery, and so on? That sounds like too much work
Attack Speed Reference - Russt - 2008-12-05 Dusk Wrote:Yes. You have to *0.9 anyway to get the actual damage, why not? Attack Speed Reference - heronz - 2008-12-05 hey, i didnt really understand the speed references on the 1st page and how booster is applied. so a wpn boostered LB(fastt-4) has an speed of faster(2) or faster (3) ? does booster just move the speed by 1 category or is it 2? thanks Attack Speed Reference - Dusk - 2008-12-06 heronz Wrote:hey, Booster decreases the ranking of your attack speed by two at all levels. Attack Speed Reference - WayOfTime - 2008-12-11 This thing is really useful for finding out the dps of each skill to see which is better. Thank you. Attack Speed Reference - LazyBui - 2008-12-13 Sheesh. I need to visit this site more. Russt Wrote:Hmm... apparently Corkscrew, Backspin, and DU have different casting times when they actually hit a monster, similar to Rush. Could you look into this?I can test that, yes. Dusk Wrote:LazyBui, could you figure out the attack speed of Demolition with Wind Booster? That would settle the attack speed issue. The difference between 33 attacks per minute and 23 is incredible. I will make my own thread once these issues are cleaned up and I get a better looking spreadsheet.I could if I had somebody to give me Wind Booster -- I think they renamed it Speed Infusion -- in global. Buff data can only come from one place, otherwise I'd have updated all the tables by now. Happen to know a 120+ pirate that would be interested? Attack Speed Reference - JoeTang - 2008-12-13 Air Strike Delay Grenade Spamming (dropping on floor/straight down, 0 charge) Grenade Delay (delay before another attack can be used. seems like almost nothing but whatever) Energy Drain Energy Blast Energy Orb Above list is all we need to complete Pirates, I believe. Attack Speed Reference - Russt - 2008-12-13 Energy skills don't work, I believe. And it would help to check both the spamming and delay times hitting a monster for the skills I mentioned. And any other skill that moves you that I might've forgotten. Attack Speed Reference - JoeTang - 2008-12-13 Don't work? You mean we have to do something as barbaric as counting them in a minute with your fingers and toes?! Attack Speed Reference - Russt - 2008-12-13 I should hope not... Well, they work in GMS, obviously. It'd be pretty pathetic if they didn't. Attack Speed Reference - LazyBui - 2008-12-14 JoeTang Wrote:Air Strike DelaySlight problem with Grenade. The packet is sent based on when the bomb actually contacts the ground. If I swim around Aqua Road and dump 10 of them on my way down and they all hit at once, there will be 10 packets and the "delay" will appear to be extremely low. That means that there's not one variable that we can modify, there will always be two variables because it's a charge skill. Even if I mash the keys as fast as I can, they can still hit the ground at different times and throw off an accurate assessment. Just added Aerial Strike delay, going to add the other stuff with mobs in a bit. EDIT: Scratch the latter half, added. You are correct, their spamming time is MUCH longer when hitting mobs (but their delay times are the same) Attack Speed Reference - JoeTang - 2008-12-16 Alright, no big deal about Grenade. Not like its value would go up if we considered how slow it works. Do we know the exact time required to fill a charge bar like Screw Punch, Big Bang, Pierce, and Grenade though? Attack Speed Reference - LazyBui - 2008-12-16 Well, the packet sends charge times in ms. It seems that Pierce/Big Bang have a max charge time of 2000ms. Corkscrew Blow is 1000ms, Grenade seems to be at that rate too. Attack Speed Reference - Dusk - 2008-12-17 Hm, needs more times with Faster (2) weapons now that Wind Booster exists :/ Every piece of information in the Pirate boards suggests that Demolition takes less than 2 seconds to execute. Could you recheck that? Attack Speed Reference - Russt - 2008-12-17 Anyone with Demolition has Wind Booster too... I doubt that that would make it go below 2 seconds though, given the current values up there. Attack Speed Reference - Dusk - 2008-12-17 Russt Wrote:Anyone with Demolition has Wind Booster too... Right, that's why I think the times listed are wrong. If they are correct, Buccaneers do less damage transformed than untransformed with SE. Attack Speed Reference - JoeTang - 2008-12-17 Unless Wind Booster gives a different effect than anticipated, which is also doubtful. There's a Stun Value in the data for Demolition, but it doesn't seem to work properly. Maybe it was a typo on this end. That in itself would raise Demolition's training damage dramatically. It is possible Demolition attacks faster with a Target, but I'm not sure how that could be logical. Attack Speed Reference - LazyBui - 2008-12-19 Super Transform may have special buff types that make Demolition faster, but that makes no sense because you can only use Demolition in Super Transform as it is. In my testing, it's just as fast with a mob as without. I don't feel like modifying all the different weapon classes to attack speed 2 to test the Speed Infusion effect, but as it stands, unless Speed Infusion does something special to Demolition, these are it. What evidence suggests that it takes less than 2000ms to execute? 2340ms at weapon speed 2, by the way. EDIT: Apparently, Dragon Strike is tons slower now? 2250ms? Used to be 1440ms or whatever. EDIT2: Started looking for evidence myself, and it seems that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ay1LgKXPBIw&feature=related agrees. It takes just barely over 2 seconds to execute. |
