Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Cynic - 2010-03-25 Eosian Wrote:They don't want a "super long letter". They want individual stories, by the people who actually lived them. Anthology, not Novel. I think the problem with this is the fact that NEXON will see this as, 10 maybe 20 people complaining. Whereas if you complain as a community, with a list of things that are wrong, NEXON and The Consumerist will view this as something we all see happening. If I got hacked and you didn't then my story sounds bias. If I got hacked along with many others within a community and is then acknowledged by them, it sounds stronger. Not to mention they want individual stories? It's all the same, hacking, hackers, NX, content. They will just end up reading the same stories over and over again. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Kalovale - 2010-03-25 I'm kinda sad how we have people who have nothing to do with us listen to us, while our beloved game organizers turn us both blind eyes and deaf ears. Nexon won't give a damn whether you or an entire armada whine about things - To them it's just whining, and they've already blatantly dismissed all whining as being part of the minority and below their consideration. That's not likely to change because we all create a giant form letter telling them how they suck and signing it en masse. The consumerist isn't a class action lawsuit. It's an individuals-telling-their-side, and they measure impact by volume of distinct reports, not a completely unmeasurable "community" letter that as far as they know only represents the views of a single individual. The entire value of community impact comes from the number of people involved, condensing that into a single report just dilutes that impact down to nil. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Combattente - 2010-03-25 Awesome job, Sarah. Awesome job. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Sarah - 2010-03-25 Also I noticed that someone over at the Sleepywood forums thinks I was the one who said this business about the $325,000. I said no such thing and have no idea where that number or story came from. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Duelman - 2010-03-25 Obvious jackasses are obvious. Don't let them flame you for doin something right, nothing is ever good enough for them. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Link - 2010-03-25 I sent in a nine paragraph inquiry about Nexon's incompetence. I hope the word really gets out and it helps Nexon change not only the North American branch, but every branch of Nexon in the world. Though I doubt Nexon will comply, we can only hope they do. =/ Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Sarah - 2010-03-25 Oh, I just realised that someone probably sent in a letter about their lost NX and said "325,000 NX" which as we all know is $325 but obviously the consumerist wouldn't know that. And it's entirely possible that this is true because a lot of equipment in the MTS goes for ridiculous prices. Anyone who is about to send in a letter, please clarify that. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Fiel - 2010-03-25 Please talk only about the article here. If you want to talk about writing letters or taking action, do so in the Call to Action boards. Thanks. I would think that the writer did that on his own. An article to help back up his own claims. Fairly common to do that i think. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - cronnoponno - 2010-03-25 Brb, I need to go get some firewood for hell, it just froze over. Wow but seriously, this is nearly the first time I heard something like this about Nexon, I suppose it was just supposed to be a known fact that Nexon sucks. But I really don't know what to complain to Nexon for, nothing bad really ever happened to me(I'm a massive solo player, for the most part, I even don't join guilds). I've never been banned, hacked, scammed, cheated out of nx, anything. So I doubt my input on a complaint would do any good, since nothing bad ever happened to my account, and I was offline during all that chaos scroll crap(although that isn't the first time Nexon effed something up, rollback event a few years back, anyone?) Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - DeviantSteve - 2010-03-26 Bah, this alone is reason to write a letter. Great job, Sarah. Rock and roll. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Fumni - 2010-03-27 Looks like a lot has been going on in my absence. It would have been nice if it made the top worst company list, though. Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Kalovale - 2010-03-28 Me no likey. ![]() Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Fumni - 2010-03-28 What the hell? Apple made it on the list? And they were complaining about fanboys stuffing ballots... In fact, a lot of those companies just seem more like well known companies than actual companies that had issues this year. Like Cablevision isn't even on that list but Time Warner Cable is lol. If you note, they decided to do it by company type, the tops in each category facing each other, so of course for Operating Systems it's Microsoft vs Apple. Believe me, that detail didn't escape me, but since I'm practically a PC purist (with the exception of my iPod) I question why Apple was even considered in the first place, especially since there are way worse companies out there. Maybe someone with a Mac can fill me in, because I only ever hear glowing reviews from the Appleheads. They say it's because they don't get viruses and that the graphics are better. But if you built a PC with the same amount of money, I'm sure you would have a decent enough graphics card. Otherwise, I can't think of any other reason that Apple may be better Consumerist: Nexon Isn't Worst Company in America, Yet - Fiel - 2010-03-28 It's not that the graphics are better, it's about photo and movie editing that apple users claim is better with iLife. Also, nowhere are they claiming that it's more powerful (photoshop is available for both operating systems) it's that the iLife version is more consumer friendly. That's their claim. |
