I've been harrassing them on their forums and I suggest you all do the same. They close tickets without reading them so maybe if we make Hime cry they'll fix it.

If it even fixable. Stop do drama, it happened and you must understand that. I know your pain it happened to me too. But in GMS history were a lot of more worse bugs, calm down.

It would be fixable by simply doing a rollback, one would assume. People would lose a lot of pomegranate and be very angry but that's Nexon's problem. If they weren't so incompetent in the first place this wouldn't have happened, and they should have to deal with the rage of 100000000 customers.

? It's funny . They won't rollback for guild hacks for example and would do one for monster book haha;D Nah.Maybe if they delete cards from Ellin Forest and TT and patch them again, it would work. Who knows.
I hope It will be fixed, but if not i won't cry this glitch only change number of your cards. You can't get any free new cards< That would hurt very much.

Part of the problem may be the lack of people who know about this glitch. Someone should go inform Basilmarket and Sleepywood if they aren't already aware of it. The more people who know, the faster it might Nexon's attention and hopefully get addressed.
I agree that they should do a roll back and fix the problem within the next few days, and while they're at it they should fix how many white scrolls are coming out of the gachapon. There's no way the amount that it's handing out is normal. That'll take care of the over abundance of white scrolls that just entered the servers and this card shuffling error at the same time.

NO. I don't care how many Monster Books get messed up. Doing a roll back over 24 hours will piss off even more people.

I am just very bitter and angry. I've ceased my playing essentially. I've put my character in a mini-dungeon. I was having a tough time staying away from the game so this is a good solution. Plus I get to waste Nexon's bandwidth while I'm doing it so it's win-win-win (well really it's lose-lose-lose but whatever.) I figured I'd continue doing that quest so that in the event that they actually fix this in the coming weeks, I won't be years behind in the mini-dungeon event and not get it complete.

Just so everyone is aware...
There's been some speculation that they stopped the shuffle with the server check last night, but they haven't. I just picked up a Mossy Mushroom card just to test this and my book has reshuffled.
So basically it's still pineappleed. Keep complaining, guys!
Edit: NXPEPE responded to my thread on the Nexon forums and said they're looking into it. While that provides little resolution, it's still better than nothing. http://forum.nexon.net/MapleStory/forums/thread/2854987.aspx

I can understand why those of you that actually care about Monster Book would be upset, but personally I'd love if my Skeles got reset to 1 and a couple of other cards got maxed. Another hour of 1.15x on monsters that I collect way too many cards of anyway. I've probably wasted 5-6 Skele cards a piece.
On a side note, I've only picked up an Eye of Time monster card and that didn't change anything in my book.
In my analogy I'm not acknowledging the existence of AP or SP resets. Assume they don't exist. Or don't, and say that Nexon tells you "lol go MTS up some NX and reset it yourself". That's the same as saying "GO HUNT YOUR CARDS AGAIN". I did it right, and Nexon messed up, and now I have to fix it? No, that's not right. Especially when it's IMPOSSIBLE to fix the cards they messed up like Lord Pirate. I spent all of last month making sure I had all 5 of the PQ bosses, and Nexon undid all that work in 5 minutes of "lol wut" glitches.

Noty. Please don't be so selfish, people would lose a lot more from a rollback than you lost from the monster book, including things they more than likely could NOT get back.
Oh, and they could (if this is possible) rollback Monster Book specifically without changing anything else. Doubt it though.[/COLOR]

According to those who have it glitched, it only moves to the cards that you already have.
Would this monster book go back to normal by fixing the monster card ID or whatever? or would it require more work than that?

If you are complaining about this, but would have no idea why it bugged, or how to fix it, or have ever made a mistake on something you shouldn't have, then shut your god damned hole.

the whole problem here is that the monster book is part of your character. though for some it may not be that important since they dont care about the characterbound catalog, for some it really maters. with this bug some of us cant finish their monster database anymore.. thats a huge bummer.. its like stealing stamps from somebody who collects stamps and saying.. lol what are u whining about, if you want to see stamps u can google them and watch them on ur pc..
