There aren't too many big differences between each region -- KDnF is the farthest along and has free skill resets but it's the hardest to get into. CDnF has some region exclusive dungeons. It requires a proxy to play and it's generally REALLY laggy during the peak China times. You also won't be able to PvP in other regions, although it might not be your cup of tea.

I think I'll just wait for the global server. If I'm reading the former patch notes correctly, the alpha took place in the Innovation patch?

We were a bit farther than Innovation, we were on the patch DnF implemented 3 months after innovation.

We had just gotten Mutu+A previously CDnF exclusive PvE Arena thing in the Tower of Death/Despair area before DFO died, and Alpha was basically on that same client.
Who knows what patch we'll be on when CBT comes around though.

They're mostly the same, but these dungeons were designed to be a real pain in the ass; now they're being run faster than a lot of people could run Iron Scale/Runaway Westbound. They're doing mindnumbing amounts of damage despite the huge amount of base defense of true ancient monsters. Also things like OV3 have become very much so soloable (Although they're kinda considered level 70-80 dungeons, and the mechanics/gimmicks have been made easier even if you can't break them).
