nah, its fine as is. it'd ruin the flow of battle for an evolution.

i don't watch the anime and i don't see how it would ruin "flow". i'm not proposing they continuously level up like blarghy113's terrible idea thread for maple but specific trainers, pvp or pvg(ym). it would also help to discourage what i typically do if i die at a gym leader which is run right back in and try again, get experience from the first couple enemies which are usually very easy, die and repeat until beaten. needs more challenge without making them impossibly hard for no reason.

>challenge trainers
>faint everyone at their last pokemon
>recover at pokemon center

aside from losing a lot of money this way how would that plan differ from what you'd like to happen?

because with the current system i know that if i faint and retry enough i will eventually beat it because i'm getting stronger and they're sitting there twiddling their thumbs. in the system i propose, if i go in there and die and then come back and find an evolved mujakahfro when mujakariki whooped my butt it's going to encourage me to go train in a reasonable area. especially if not only did mujakariki evolved but maybe some of the pokemon i had beaten and would normally train on did, too.

heck, if i know there's a chance that dying is going to just make my life more difficult i'll try to avoid it at all costs in the first place.

I'm still gonna get Wotter but i dont like how his second evolution is blue, i thought there would be white. Pokabu second evo looks cute and smugleaf looks just as smug.

Starter evos are confirmed fake. The author fessed up. Serebii says on GameFAQs that the author masked/faked his IP going in so that it would sound more believable.

(Funny thing about this, I was considering the possibility that the IP was copied, but I didn't know if such a thing was even possible in the first place.)

Meh..easy to see coming. The art didn't look official at all, and the 3rd evolution of the water starter didn't match. The only one that looked somewhat plausible was Smugleaf's 3rd form.

Pokémon Black and White versions - ItachiPower - 2010-09-01

Thank god. All of those 3rd evolutions were pretty terrible.

the evolutions in general didn't look good... I mean smugleaf REALLY turning into a SMUGGERleaf while Wotter got samurai armor and piggeh got bipedalism? Personally i want the fire starter to get out of the Fire/fighting trend that's been here. make something so extremely whack that i makes absolutly no sense like Fire/Water or Fire/Ice.

Pokémon Black and White versions - ItachiPower - 2010-09-01

The 2nd evolution for Smugleaf and Wotter are real actually.
 Spoiler

Pokémon Black and White versions - Ryanide - 2010-09-03

The fakemons posted were horrible

Pokémon Black and White versions - ¬Rob - 2010-09-04

According to Serebii, they were re-confirmed to be real. Damn it.
Ugliest starter evo's ever. ><

Pokémon Black and White versions - Ryanide - 2010-09-04

oh my freaking god, it's real

): I don't use my starters for storyline though

Pokémon Black and White versions - MiSSHaku - 2010-09-04

>_> I don't like the starters, mostly because of the huge change from Mijumaru's second evolution to the third one, and the same for Tsutaja. Pokabu's I just don't like overall.
I wonder what the typing will be though. o_o

Pokémon Black and White versions - Razzberry - 2010-09-04

I don't believe it...

He must be fucking or something, if the creator of them came forward....

Pokémon Black and White versions - Kojo - 2010-09-04

Lol. Just lol if they are real. If they are I think I'm still going to choose Pokabu though.

And apparently, Yanpappu (the grass monkey) has a fire and water counterpart named Hiyappu and Baoppu respectively.

ive heard of pushing a gimmick, but this is just ridiculous.

Pokémon Black and White versions - MorbidMagus - 2010-09-04

If those evo's are actually real, I'm forced to go with the grass one. Its the least horrible out of the three imo.

Pokémon Black and White versions - Polka - 2010-09-04

i liked the grass one at first but having seen the fire one's second evo i'm going with it. and i will never let it evolve passed second evo.

my shared mindset with wotter, if i even let him evolve at all.

Pokémon Black and White versions - Corn - 2010-09-04

Oh, come on, Wotter's third evolution looks decent.
