Okay, who do you pray to to get all that binding luck?

I just want my lethe's back so I can have a decent WM build...guess I gotta buy a reset someday.

Nice, nothing like a mini-Elenore in the form of a Greatsword.

MasPan Wrote:Yeah, I intend to once I have accessories worth enchanting. Aiming for either a Pel Los or the Screaming necklace first.

Seeing how Launchers are a mix of fixed and percent, I have no idea which will work best. Pel Los is just so much money, but Screaming necklace is bugged when in parties and 50 days really gets to me. I think Pel Los would be best.

Either one is incredibly expensive. Nugol Eyes are roughly 180k apiece, and you need 200 for the Screaming accessories excluding the dailies. That adds up pretty damned quickly. As of right now I'm farming the Nightmares for memories and selling off the eyes. I figure by the time I have enough memories I'll have enough money for one accessory or the other, or at least be a significant portion of the way there, especially if I can find a dungeon unique. Pel Los is easily the stronger of the two items here. Meanwhile I can use the invites/scrolls to farm Radiant Eyes for a Light Fairy Ring. Bit by bit I'm going to gear myself up :/

That feel when 136 Faint Memories and 101 Nugol Eyes.

also I've saved a lot of money for a halgi, but I feel that if I buy one now It's going to be a waste of money especially when bind spheres come out.So I'm just sitting here with this money ;_; waiting for them to drop ugh. I hate it

Is it just me, or are they purposely lowering there damage in order to do these combos? I only watched the first few minutes, but having lots of low dmg hits really isn't that practical (well, unless you manage to find a neverending combo)... Also, macros.

Yeah... Noticed the ele in there doing like, 1/20th the damage I do with my pretty mediocre equips. Definitely just lowering their damage to combo more.

Because they're showing off their technical knowledge/skill. That's kindof the point - "I would even be able to win with crap gear because I can juggle forever."

But... They wouldn't... On the ele, for example, if you add up all the damage done in that combo, it's almost no better than just hitting the enemy once with JUST ice walls (which is also much easier than trying to start a combo with Weapon Uppercut)... They're lowering the damage so far that it's no longer practical in any respect. Not only that, they DON'T do this by just using "crap equips." They're stacking tons of cast and attack speed. Also, stationary enemies. Pulling off these combos is actual PvP would be much more difficult.

The whole point of the video is to just look impressive and it does, but I'd really be more impressed if they could show themselves comboing in actual PvP situations without stacking tons of speed.

They use low level weapons in these videos because if they didn't, damage protection would kick in and the punching bags would drop like bricks way too early.

This Cross is too XTREME for me.

I know, but it's the same reason I don't find it terribly practical. If you could pull off absurd combos while dealing with damage protection, it would be insane. To me, this is like a TAS. It's cool to watch and takes a fair amount of knowledge, but I'm really not the impressed...

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Mark - 2012-01-08

Damage protection exists to stop long combos; I don't really see that being possible.

it only stops long combos that involve constant juggling. you could do a long combo that involves...ground stuff.

Highly entertaining to watch. I love weapons that have "all enemy" type effects, they create so much chaos. I want to see a Hand Cannon that has a chance to stick a Steyr bullet on every enemy...

Steyr while you Steyr, and amusingly the effect can be more damaging than the Steyr itself.

I was thinking about coming back to DFO but I usually end up playing for 2 days and quitting. I'll try out the new stuff and see if it's worth seriously getting back into...
Edit: Does anyone have a good male grappler build? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I had that problem at first, and just tried to go in from the website. Maplestory works fine, and I already logged a ticket. Bleh.

Piggy: Play button in top right corner works.

Managed to get on DFO once, but then got this problem:
