That ordering is most curious.

Besides Resistance being first, Cannon Shooter being last, and Dual Blade being after Phantom (Although that is when they got the revamp.), everything's in the order of release.

.....And didn't they go with female Aran on the last icon for Aran? Why's it the polearm now?!

And what are they going to do when they add new classes? We already know we're about to get two more.....

Anybody ever think there's no plan behind the way the characters are aligned? I know everyone is excited for the next big thing and is speculating about what it is, but no need to grab at straws and over think the simplest of things.

Wow, Aran and Evan's icons look awful. Like.Really.Damn.Bad.
And if they could show the various sub-classes under the Adventurers, Resistance, and Cygnus Knights groups, that'd be great. At least you'd be able to see what those classes in those categories looked like.

Hmm, they still have to finish the Novans/Novanians so they should really put the Heroes in one row and the Novans/Novanians in another row. Arranging the rows by class type would be way more organized.

Mikhail would be forever alone. Rolleyes

But conspiracy theories are fun! Frown You're right though, I really haven't a single clue how this is organized and there's so little days left to this patch that the secret would probably be revealed before we get a reasonable theory as to what this is.

Anticipation and then sadness if this is correct.
Hope for the best.

I wish they would stop using so many icons.

Put every Hero under a hero icon which then leads to an Aran, Evan, Mecedes, Phantom and Luminous icons. Put the two Novas under a Nova icon. Put Dual Blade and Cannon under Adventurers.

And what to do with Demon Slayer the sort of Hero but officially Resistance?

Then don't. You're making it seem like someone is forcing you to grind. If I remember right, a few years back Nexon said that they never meant there to be a "max level" at first. They simply had to cap it at 200 because of the 32bit limit. Back in 2006-2007 200 was nearly impossible to achieve.

Nowadays lvl 200 doesn't mean anything. People can make it to 200 in a single day. And because everyone is 200, everything is measured in equips/range. In other words, if you really want to be the best you need to either spend tons on nx or hack the hell out of everything.

Either way there needs to be more to do after 200 or else the playerbase will quit.

I believe the reason why they mention this is because ALL JOBS will be available for creation during this winter update. That said, it doesn't rule out the chance of more jobs coming.

One can only dream they would stop creating new jobs and focused revamping the story of the game, fixing whats already there, adding more content to it and reorganizing it so it makes sense, but it seems Nexon thinks you people would find that too boring as they've never dedicated a patch to storyline ever (I think) so chances are slim.

After these patches end in January, it will be character revamps all the way to June to put jobs in league with the new bosses Rolleyes

OT: oh and the order they were laid out is meaningless, stop looking too freaking deep into things.

I would think that would be the most exciting thing ever especially if they revamped every job to have its own actual story including the factions. Frown ...of course, it would also need to be interesting; something like Phantom's storyline would be really nice as it doesn't straight up tell you what's going on so you get curious to go further to see the continuation.

That is one messy and disorganized character creation screen.
Put Demon Slayer in the resistance tab, or create a Heroes tab and put the 5 heroes + Demon Slayer in there.
Create a Novan tab for the novan jobs.
Put Cannon Shooter and Dual Blader in the adventurer tab.
THERE, now it looks organized and nice. I don't see why each character has to be separate like this is some kind of fucking fighting game roster like Tekken.

They do it this way because they don't want two levels of menus.
Once you click one of those buttons, your character tutorial is set. The buttons that represent groups, only choose their sub-specialty at level 10 (or 8).
All the adventurers start out as Beginners on Maple Island - except Cannoneers that start on the boat there (and never make it) and DBs that start there but with an extra "guiding spirit". All Resistance start out as Citizens in Edelstein - except DS that has its own starting sequence. That means Cannoneer, DB, and DS need their own buttons, separate from Adventurers and Resistance.

I do agree the screen is much too cluttered this way, though. No idea when they'll bite the bullet and make it a two-level menu.

Honestly, if they won't release new class(es) next summer I'll promise to eat a bowl full of my dogs crap. You can write this down next to Fiel's promise to eat his shirt.

I don't know the date but apparently he promises to do it if the Black Mage ever becomes a boss that can be defeated. Rolleyes
