You should get a void staff instead of that many shoes (40% magic pen).
Also it doesn't matter that much because most people tend to not build MR until they've played the game for a while. On the enemy team

You were probably doing true damage or close to it with just haunting guise + sorc shoes.

He explained me his strategy. It's to dash by the enemy team, take out the tank (Deathgrasp/Ultimate) and cripple the rest (Ultimate), then go back to farming/pushing while the team handles the fight.

I forget the range but i think it's reduced to 600 which is about AA range. Anyone who's supposed to be in the middle of the fight will proc it.
And that strategy should not always work as if the enemy team isn't stupid, they should just kill eve as soon as she gets into range. This is assuming the two teams are equal in terms of gold/items/etc. If the enemy team is really behind, any strategy will really work as they can't answer back to a fight unless it's under tower or contesting baron with baron being an ally.

They invaded our jungle and killed someone. Our jungler (my brother, Eve) had a hard time jungling, Vayne went top with Volibear, Shaco... I have no idea what Shaco was doing, I was forced to do middle. They were ganking us successfully. We fed Draven. They got Baron like three times. I left in the middle of the game for about 5 minutes. We had Karma and Eve. Eve had three boots. They were laughing hard at us, making fun of us, telling us how much we suck.
