Even Wrote:Manual casting bone searing arrow, drow frost arrow, viper toxic venom or od whatever that skill increased your attack range with about 50 in DotA 1 (not 100% sure about how far it increases but it does increase by about 50). Pretty sure this is just another hidden feature that was copied over.

Also: This is made for the chinese dota 2 client, I dont get why they want to adjust the models but okey. (could also be fake, but ever heard about the Oil seeker instead of blood seeker?)

Notice that this is for heroes that has some sort of demon/skeleton nature, probably will see the oil seeker thing ported aswell. Whats so bad about blood and skeletons china?

oh right, it's attacks that are calculated from the center of the unit and skills that are calculated from the edge of the unit. That was the problem with all the spell ranges being I think 47 units short a while back.

also there are some chinese laws about blood and skeletons and fun stuff like that. WoW had to be changed as well to be sold in China.

Oooh, the TI3 HUD is gorgeous.
 Spoiler

Also almost 2.15 million in the prizepool.
2.2 is coming up soon with a special custom taunt for compendium owners!
2.6 doesn't seem too unrealistic now.

Is it ever reasonable to fight far from your own tower when you are certain they're pushing it?
Wasting the damage and vision towers provide feels silly and something I wouldn't do but I'm almost always uncertain of when to be aggressive, when to engage. I've watched some of my games and every now and then I'm like "dang, I just had to be little bit more aggressive for that kill".
Also, in a situation in which you're a playing a support (with just one single target disable), enemy team is kinda fed, all 5 of them are pushing and two of your teammates go and try to engage, is it recommended to go with them or just stay back? Almost every time I stay back because I feel like it'd be a certain death for the 3, and possibly without any loses for the other team.
Am I playing too defensive? ._.

Also, I'm having trouble stacking radiant's neutral easy camp. I've tried pulling at different times from :53 to :56, running to different places (river, through the trees or highground) and most of the times they won't pineappleing spawn and stack. And it happens everytime there are Hill Trolls. I can do it with medium and large camps but I don't know what am I doing wrong with the small camp.

For radiant side its best to pull the camp towards mid lane and always pull at 0:53 sec. Make sure the creeps are following you at all times and try not to lose sight of them at the very end. The trick about stacking in dota is to not stay in 300-400 radius of the spawing spot and not directly look at it with hero vision, creeps from the camp you're trying to stack only have about 300-500 vision so if you can pull them out of that range before 0:00 mark your stack should run smoothly. Most of the time its also best to aggro the camps by letting them attack you once. If you get hit at 0:53 and pull the camp from there you will be given pull time to stack the camp (because the creeps in dota jungle aggros you for about 7 to 8 sec, meaning they need at least 3-4 sec to move back to their camp.

Holy pineapple that showmatch was so unprofessional.
Alliance kicked DKs ass in game one though, so much for that chinese dominance.

LD was disgusting during the showmatch though, holy pineapple that bias.
"Showing some chinese dominance"
YEAH, DOMINATING IN A GAME WHERE ONE TEAM IS HANDICAPPED, IT'S LIKE SHOWING DOMINANCE BECAUSE YOU RAN FASTER THAN A CRIPPLE.
EVEN THE CHINESE SAID THAT IT WAS NO FUN WHEN THEIR LINEUP WAS TRYHARD AND THE ENEMY HAD A PUB-LINEUP.

World lineup wasn't a lineup. It was hard randomed from the random draft pool because the match was started while they weren't even in the booth and the admins refused a remake. Seems a bit shitty given that they wasted so much time beforehand. Loda played a pretty nice Tiny though.
Anyhow, what the pineapple is happening in these matches? iG is 0-2 and has lost 4 matches in a row. They've gotten absolutely stomped by both Orange and LGD.cn and I just don't recognize this team. They got entirely outdrafted by LGD (team of squishies up against Nyx, DS, Spectre, and Visage) who has been playing amazingly. They took Kunkka and Earthshaker against DK and stomped. Srsly, Visage is strong as pineapple. The Orange vs. iG game though... I don't know what the hell happened in that game but both teams looked totally lost. [A] and LGD are the only teams that look at all consistent here.

Yes it was, lmfao.
A lineup is just the heroes you have on your team, that's your lineup. World line-up was basically something you'd see in a pub, thus a pub-lineup. I saw the entire thing.

And i was quoting one of the chinese:
Quote:这比赛有意思?人家娱乐阵容打中国比赛阵容?
how's this fun? they have a pub line up against our try-hard lineup...

oh well semantics are fun stuff right?

Watching Na'vi vs. Fnatic... such weird plays o.O
Casters being weird too, Tobi spoiled something but I didn't quite get it D:

EDIT: Testing/learning supports and initiators against bots was boring and frustrating. South American servers seem like the best place ever to test them, players are a bit smarter than bots but it's rather bad so it's like playing against easy bots. I don't know if I'm just biased but after a couple of games the difference between NA and SA is insane. The downside: I can't understand what they say unless they're writing in Spanish or English. Most players seem to be brazilian or if they talk in Spanish accents I'm not used to I won't understand half of what they say.
Regardless, it seems like a way better place to try out, understand and possibly learn stuff about a hero I haven't tried before compared to bot matches.

I bought the Pyrion Flax announcer pack. Funniest stuff ever.

Saw a vod of G-1 LAN FINALs Day 2: Liquid vs LGD. That Syllabear play. My mind was blown.

Glad to see Alliance do so well against the chinese teams, i still don't think they're as good as iG in their prime(iG looked so shaky yesterday, didn't look like iG at all) but if iG doesn't step it up, i'd call Alliance one of the top 2 teams in the world.

DotA2 - Original Thread - Words - 2013-05-25

I wonder if iG has enough time to train before ti3... They're playing nothing like last year.
Many pubstomp games lately and they're rather boring to watch.

Also, vacations start this Tuesday and I'll have a lot of time to play and watch games Big Grin
Will you guys have vacations soon too? Maybe we can start playing together more often then Big Grin

My last exam is the 28th of june, after that i am ready for lots of doto.

DotA2 - Original Thread - Raul - 2013-05-25

My exams end the 4th.
Sadly I'm leaving on I think the 16th to go to Peru for a month. I'm going to miss a lot of good doto and I'll probably miss 6.68 as well.

Atleast you'll be back for TI3. I'm still trying to find a place where i can gather with some other people and watch dota for 5 days straight during TI3.
Basically get a projector and then watch games and play games whenever we're not watching games.

That sounds awesome, I wish I could do the same but community here seems really small... it must have to do with internet accessibility and avg pc quality Sad Even most of my friends who like gaming don't have pcs that can handle Dota 2...

The community in my town is very small as well, i barely know anyone that plays it, which is why i'm not sure how it'll work out Tongue You're not alone in that boat. I don't play dota with any real life friends, basically.

Finally getting back into my stride. Had a wonderful game where we were initially losing thanks to PA feeding. However, me, Chaos Knight, Spirit Breaker, and Warlock kept turning things around with our hard disables, mini-stuns, and nuking powers. And going 5-man DoTA so hard.

[Image: 44C15C7D08C25FC8362C1B668C109914648E9F59]

How wonderful it feels to stomp the enemies so hard after we fed them so much in the beginning. Nerf 5-man DoTA. And wards. Lots and lots of observer wards.

I severely question the Anti-Mage's build. Just terrible if he was hoping to carry the team. The worst part for him was we pretty much gave him free farm for at least 15 minutes and he still didn't get enough farm.

I wish shadow shaman wasn't so horribly squishy and slow, he's one of my favourite mid heroes by far and wins so many 1v1 match-ups mid, but is too easy to gank.

NEIA TEIA AN DA KA!

Amusingly I did go mid for this game since no one else wanted to. I was against a Sniper, who I kept harassing to no end. He got me once, but by the time the laning phase was over I still had 2 Tangoes and a salve. Also, you wouldn't believe how little they focused on me, which helped me stay alive even when I kept turning the melee into chickens, or shackling runners. They kept going after the PA and Chaos Knight since we had a double carry bottom lane, which by all fairness should have been utterly lost if it wasn't for Warlock and me popping down to help.

Now that I think about it, they probably could have won that game, since their early game was just disgusting, kills all over top and bottom. But then again, I guess that's the power of supports for ya.
