Not gonna lie, this sort of creeps me out a bit...

Altar of Limits is the best.

I expected this, what with broken buffs and all. But who cares about how easy or hard it is?

I'm fine with you guys using Shift, but when stuff like that Transformation event and now Altar will be screwing up one of your hotkeys it's a good reason to stick with the classic set-up instead of having to remap the Shift key.

I'm not putting mount on F1 or H again. Ever.

Shift is a big, fat, easy to reach key. The fact the transform event could LOCK all your keys if you didn't press twice was definitely rage worthy. So I have no idea what point you're trying to make here. I refuse to remap my keys because it is all muscle memory now and I really don't want to have to relearn it just for Altars.

Enjoy your scrubby default key setup.

Sorry but i gonna deal with it. Besides double tapping shift wasnt a problem for me in the event. So why should it be a problem in Alter

"Class Set-up?"

Do you mean default key setup or what?

dante9898 Wrote:"Class Set-up?"

Yeah, default. My bad.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - FenixR - 2011-09-27

Nein, Default setup is crap.

I only have liek... 4 out of 12 of the default setup, 7 out of 18 if you count items hotkeys.

Oh and on the skill default hotkeys i dont use 2 of those (Have them for the CD checking)

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Pandamonium - 2011-09-27

Alternatively, learn all of your skill's manual inputs without re-keying and don't hotkey ANYTHING AT ALL like a pro.

But yeah, default set-up works fine for me. Doesn't clash with whatever features they decide to put in.
I use F Keys for buffs when I have extra space/ I spam the buff/the manual input is not easy and cube moves because I don't need to reach all the way there all the time. Then again, the keyboard I'm using doesn't have the F keys very far from the ASDFGH keys.

Buffs would definitely be the first to go if I needed space, unless it was something like lolnenshot on grappler, which I hotkeyed for no reason at all (maybe pvp? The hotkeys bother me when they're not completely filled in), despite learning hammer kick and sand splash manuals for fun.

Customizing hotkey does wonders for some of the classes. Manual inputting buffs and non-cancellable cubes, I pretty much only need A~H and F1~F4 for actual hotkeys. On my Striker I removed 2/4 buffs from my hotkey bar and only kept Muscle Shift and Super Armor up. On my lowbie Crusader, haha I don't even need half the hotkeys since manual inputting on a support class is easy as cake.

I also keep seeing BAckstep hotkeyed. Why? Down + C is so easy to do unless it's srs PvP reasons.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - FenixR - 2011-09-27

Hotkeying buff its moronic unless you are doing it for watching CDs.

Some skills are pretty straightforward and easy to do by manual input with minimal lost in Acuraccy.

For the rest i have "ASDFG/Numpad17593.0/Shift", where i use F and G to watch CD mostly.

I wanna see you manual Phantasmal seriously.

I use Chaser Launcher on Shift... and there's no manual input for Chaser Launcher...

Guess I'll either deal with it or just change the location. Neither of which I will enjoy. ;~;

Spacebar. And change AM to Up/Left/Right/Down + Spacebar since it's a buff.

Problem?

I have skills on shift, but I either don't use 'em very often (punto, rising fist, spike cannon) or can get away with double tapping easily (mount, nen flowers), so it's not the biggest problem for me. Honestly though, it's easy to see where the frustration comes from. The shift key is easily accessible and all-around convenient, so it's pretty obvious that a whooooooooooole lot of people would use it for an important skill depending on the class. Add onto that the fact that most of those people have likely been playing for a long time so it ain't exactly ezmode for them to just switch, regardless of how much easier customizable inputs have made it. Timing is a huge factor here - This wouldn't have been such a huge disruption if it didn't come over a year after the game's been out. I know the Nexon staff ain't a bunch of mystics, but I don't think putting the transformation/Altar tab onto one of the F keys would've been mission impossible.

THAT BEING SAID, this is only for altar, so it's probably not even a big dealio. Most of the population just doesn't appreciate...

*Glasses*

This sudden SHIFT in their playstyle. I'm sorry...

No thanks, not high enough and ghost step is kind of annoying. Need pretty much capped(68) for maximum invincibility, including passive.

Also still not sure if srs even though you said seriously since no comma and italics.

Easy manual of <-,->,<- z relative to the direction you're running in. OKAY.

I want Nexon to get rid of their automated banning system. It doesn't even work.

I got flagged again yesterday while running Verd and I'm getting 0 gold/drops again. Really wanted to finish off my hell runs today.
