Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - dowie - 2014-04-25 Justin Wrote:I swear to god if the legendary scaling is as bad as normal drop rate difficulty scaling is... there will still literally be no point in playing past torment 2 or 3. If you can breeze through the torment you're on then might as well go higher. Or you might as well change for more movespeed equips and skills and add a few MF equips. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Dark Link - 2014-04-25 Efficiency / Speed is key. It's one of the main reasons why I stay at T1 instead of going to T2-3+ when soloing. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/12504572275?page=4#69 Quote:Well, since you brought it up let's talk a little about that. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - dowie - 2014-04-25 Shidoshi Wrote:Or you might as well change for more movespeed equips and skills and add a few MF equips. For most movespeed is capped at 25% I don't see why you want more movespeed equips. As for mf I seem to be alright with around 100% solo And yes efficiency/speed is key I definitely agree with that. Seems I can clear t3 three times as fast as t4. The jump is just so big . Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Dark Link - 2014-04-26 http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/12674727399 Quote:We will be performing maintenance beginning on Tuesday, April 29th at 3:00 AM PDT and we expect the service to be available again at approximately 11:00 AM PDT. During this time the game and many web services will be unavailable. Possibility of patch 2.0.5? Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Justin - 2014-04-26 8 hours? aren't they normally scheduled for 5 or 6? Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Dark Link - 2014-04-26 Blizzard's been known to do long maintenance for patches, at least for WoW, but they're sometimes used if something is / went wrong. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - JoeTang - 2014-04-27 I thought they were regularly 8 hours. It was suspect that we didn't have one at all this past Tuesday though. Sure doesn't help the server instability. http://www.shacknews.com/article/84210/diablo-3-dev-team-discusses-reaper-of-souls-and-answers Interview discussing some small details about seasons and tiered rifts. Diablofans Wrote: Season only legendaries seem a bit iffy. They'd have to be pretty good to be worth rerolling each season, and they'd have to be relatively common or else there'd be no point in doing it. Hopefully, they're not gamebreakingly good since I don't want to have to reroll every single class per season to get some. I'm expecting two, maybe three classes per season, depending on their length. Especially since I still haven't touched my Barbarian and Wizard yet post-expansion. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Zelkova - 2014-04-27 I want to play this game but I am finding it difficult to justify a 80 dollar purchase. I know there is a free version however you are very limited with it. I know there is a free version however you are very limited with it. Could just wait for a sale I suppose? So far it stands out amongst its competitors for end-game content, which is saying a lot considering after a point farming for new gear is the only thing to really do. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Shidoshi - 2014-04-27 Burning Axe of Sankis + Devastator along with other bonus fire damage items are pretty incredible. I also found out I can run without the Wind Shear rune for WW as long as there is a little bit of elemental or ranged damage or the fights don't last that long. Sweet 2m crits with WW, 11m crits on Overpower/Revel and Call of the Ancients is doing 5m crits. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - MasPan - 2014-04-27 Nearly 70 on my Witch Doctor now, starting a Crusader for something completely different. Looking at some of the support skills Crusaders have and one in particular strikes me as absurdly powerful, so I'm suspicious that I'm missing something: Judgement (Resolve) states that affected enemies have an 80% higher chance of being hit by a critical. I take this to mean 1.8x, not a flat 80% + whatever the attacker's crit rate is. Even so, given how much a 10% crit chance item can be desired, I have to wonder if there's something I'm missing that wouldn't make this the most amazing party skill ever (nevermind that the enemies would also be immobilized for up to 6 seconds). Can anyone clarify? Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - JoeTang - 2014-04-27 MasPan Wrote:Nearly 70 on my Witch Doctor now, starting a Crusader for something completely different. I've gotten 5 zunimassa helms. Waiting on shoes or ring to drop so i can use my mask of jeram again. Also gotten kadala to give me every ceremonial knife except Starmetal Kukrui Q_____________Q If the seasonal legendaries are anything like d2 then they will be pretty good stuff. I wonder if they'll bring in runes at some point in time. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - JoeTang - 2014-04-27 dowie Wrote:Sigh, I prety much have 2 pieces of every helltooth sitting in my storage. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Razmos - 2014-04-27 Ooh, I always thought Rare or Legendary gems would be a good idea. It's cool and all having the 5 different varieties and their levels, but some unique gems with unique abilities and stuff would be great, especially if you can put say, a gem that releases a frost nova on hit or something onto an item. or a combination of stats INT + VIT, along those lines. We just need Blizzard to introduce Runewords to D3. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - JoeTang - 2014-04-27 Malthe Wrote:We just need Blizzard to introduce Runewords to D3. I think people underestimate how complex and shitty the runeword system was. There were literally billions of possibilities, and at one point, some where unknown. The rarity of anything above Gul makes Legendaries in RoS look like blues. I think maybe adding a few more sockets to different slots and having Legendary and Set gems would suffice. They'd perform identically to what a runeword implementation would, without the added complexity of combining complex or large sets and adding large number of sockets. |
