Hi just a couple of questions for your single-target calculations;

1. For your Demon Slayer's Hyper category, since Cerebus has a 5sec cooldown, do you include any demonslash/demonimpact within that 5s?
2. Also for cerebus, do you take into account the +50 force it recovers? I know its difficult to calculate, so all I'm asking is just whether it is included or not.
3. For Demon Avengers, is release overload used? Or are the calculations based on purely exceed execution all the way?

1. It does whatever it normally does except it uses Cerberus whenever it is available.
2. Yes, it adds Force.
3. Demon Avengers only use Exceed Overload to refresh it as a buff.

Updated top posts. From what I understand, Kaiser got whatever RED changes but you can still do stuff like Wing Beat while transfigured? Or is that gone now?

I've been wondering, would charion breath have any value here?

I mean with it's extra hit hyper and damage buff, plus using the skill that gives infinate DF for 60 seconds and blue blood activated, was wondeirng if it would out do demon impact [even though demon impact has inherent boss damage and def ignre]

Just seeing what would be best to use at the gollux gem where you have to kill it within 2 minutes.


So I guess what I'm asking for:

No. Carrion Breath is terrible. Demon Impact is double its DPS before accounting for weapon speed, boss damage, and defense ignore. And like you said, you can't use Cerberus while using Carrion Breath.

Jeez that is terrible. Oh well, was wodnering why they would give something so useless hypers but I guess most classes have hypers for useless stuff.

Actually the classes that have useless hypers are now in the minority thanks to RED. Besides, 3 useless hypers means there's only 1 skill hyper you can't get so all the ones you do get are fantastic.

Most of the Hayato combos seem more effective on targets you can either push around or are big. e.g. there's no point casting anything after Hitokiri Strike because you're already way out of range of any boss.

Which is better 1v1 between Falcon Dive and just plain Sanrenzan spam, if the Falcon Dive is having its cooldown cancelled by Sanrenzan but the Sanrenzan's not hitting anything? Or is Shinsoku better in that case? On slightly bigger targets you can just Falcon Dive back and forth but it seems like without the free Sanrenzan its damage drops cause that loses you 2 extra hits.

You'd need 2.6x the damage for Carrion Breath to cap compared to Demon Impact. I can't remember if you can, but if Carrion Breath can be used indefinitely, it would have an advantage for hits per second. Otherwise, it needs to have around 14 seconds of uptime for the startup and ending to make up for the attack speed difference.

At this point though, you should just cap with Demon Slash since that's faster at speedcap.

dunno how you figure.... in GMS v143, transfigured kaiser cannot wingbeat. HUGE cut to dps. no more gollux solos

Paladin charges are not getting their full effects.

4th job Divine - no holy bonus, or reduced damage effect on holy strong/weak at all

the effect that boosts a 2nd charge's damage after using a first, does not boost damage.
fire > blizzard
blizzard > lightning
holy > lightning

the tool tip for divine is worded in reverse. it should be "stunned enemies from lighting receive more damage"

Following the skill guide I have here, for Alpha, if you're strong enough, you can skip learning Spin Cutter until later to have a low cooldown Flash Assaulter at the really early levels. Otherwise, Alpha should be spamming Rolling Curve -> Rolling Assaulter -> Flash Assaulter -> Spin Cutter -> Rolling Curve -> ... If you're especially weak for some reason, you can skip learning Wind Strike and Storm Break until ~170, and rush monsters into a pile to use Wind Cutter on them since that will likely deal the most damage for you. Stronger characters can use Wind Strike and Storm Break to OHKO or 2HKO.
Until Beta maxes Power Stomp, she should be using Front Slash -> Upper Slash -> Front Slash -> Upper Slash. Then switch to Upper Slash -> Power Stomp. Use Whirlwind for the most damage until you get Earth Break or Advanced Power Stomp, and use those instead. When she learns Advanced Weapon Throw, you should optimize your attacks so you can use it as often as possible.

I assume that for Kaisers Dragon Slash pales in damage compared to Blade Burst spamming when Untransfigured? I guess at first Blade Burst seemed slower to me, but leveling it up seemed to make it way stronger that Dragon Slash even with all the passive boosts.
