Original Dragon Nest Thread - Five Second Pose - 2011-08-10

I'm hoping they fix the beginner package issue, I can't buy one -_-

Never mind, they're not fixing it.

Alilatias Wrote:Oh god, I did all of May's quests on my Priest. Longest quest chain ever.

By the time I was done though, I noticed I had racked up a ton of aversion points with the Invisible Thief. Like 9% worth. I'm pretty sure her quests were the cause of that. :/

Found two Gold Rabbits in a row. Unfortunately one was on my Priest that had just run out of dimensional box keys, and the second I found on my Sharpshooter, who got an acrobat plate (highest plate for Eagle Kick or whatever the air attack is called).

About how useful is that skill, anyways?

Give it to me T-T I want it.

Edit: nvm you're in velskud T-T

poor store owner

Oh god that lie detector quest... Man, that was so awkward for my Priest. Imagine what the Sorceress trainer would have done if the blacksmith went up to her directly instead of sending me there. And that storekeeper lying about not wanting to destroy the town, but truthfully excluding you.

(I feel that the Mana Ridge area had a far better starting sequence than Ironwood Village did.)

Okay so it sounds pretty useful, even though the only two options I see for it is damage increase and MP reduction. Unless the cooldown and animation is fast enough that the skill doesn't need reductions in those categories.

EDIT: If it matters, the golden rabbit that dropped the plate was at Dead Man's Road.

Minotaur Nest on Friday (Cause if they're ending the maintenance at 4PM my time, I'll be heading to bed by the time delays are counted for)

Oh well. I'll get my wings if Nexon doesn't screw up like usual.

It's only activated in the air but it's basically a straight down dive. The animation is almost instantaneous.

Worthyness Wrote:I never understood what that did. Does it make your item look like a green one? Or does it stop enhancing after a while (i've actually done this; i couldn't enhance past +9 on my common equips).

There's a chance it could go back one or two +s, so you could have a +7 go down to +6, or a +9 go to +7. I'm fairly sure I've had this happen to me in CBT.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Secun - 2011-08-11

As far as I remember, there's only a chance to downgrade at +8 and higher.

Yes, this is a probable double post, but eh.
EDIT: Thanks for the merge, Ray.

Something tells me I'm doing something wrong as a swordsman if I'm taking 19 minutes to clear Prayer's Retreat on abyssal solo. At least I didn't die. Every other abyssal boss dies way faster, except maybe the ones in Basin of the Fallen.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - CommanderJinn - 2011-08-11

Most excellent. Here's hoping that red army commander seals inflate. I stockpiled like 50 of them.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Worthyness - 2011-08-11

LOL i suck at this soloing abyss dungeons thing >.> granted i just job advanced, but still. Dying in the 1st room = not gonna bother to complete.

btw anyone know the easiest to solo abyss dungeon? I'm kinda failing miserably at this and i wanna get the fearless title D:

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Kevin - 2011-08-11

When item deranking starts depends on the rarity of the item too. A Combat Mage Staff (green) won't start deranking until you try for +9 I believe, while a Skeleton Greatsword can derank as early as +4 (lol).

It would Assassin's Den I believe, although what you do in the beginning of the boss fight could very well break you.

Valley of Mourning is just gay for melees because I can't juggle Harpies very well, they're very mobile, they spread really far apart, and they throw whirlwinds everywhere.

Maurader's Lair could be harder for ranged due to the limited space and the fact that the bosses like to get in your face. But they're easy to juggle, and they don't juggle your ass forever like the dark elves do.

Wait... you got deranked at +4? o.O That's news to me lol.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - ShinkuDragon - 2011-08-11

dear lord, dark elve juggling was just... if there are 5 ganged up on you you can consider half your life bar gone, thank god as you level you can block more and resist some of the juggles.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Reako - 2011-08-11

Anyone else play on Argenta that wants to join a level 2 guild? Just send a mail to and friend Somner and I'll get to you when I can. We're about 8 people strong right now, but could always use more. Especially with Minotaur Nest coming out soon. I know some of us play there, but we're a bit spread out...

Yeah, that place is a pain even on a Paladin. Only saving grace (lolpuns) is that we have Para Bolt, =\

now that i am finally level 24 and have tornado's and laser beams, it's MUCH easier though, but my first abyss run was just horrible.

oh great, a game I start when everyone's already far ahead

-_-

eh.
