I prefer to fund a character that I know won't be a waste. It's the reason why I'm hestiating to cube my pinnacle rings and unleash rings; they can't be scissored and would be a waste to put them on that char if I quit it. If everything was scissorable it woudn't be an issue, but I don't want to be throing my money into a bottomless pit because of poor insight.
What I enjoy is being able to solo bosses efficiently without anyone's help. I prefer warriors. Hence why I like staying in this thread when I own about 5 warrirors on my account.

the thing is, Kaiser "could" be nerfed to death, while Aran could be buffed insanely.. you will never know what will happen in the future..
If you like your aran more, go ahead, if you like kaiser more, then pick kaiser.. is not hard

Imo kaiser is terrible in situations with no wingbeat. Arans aren't terrible where funding one is always bad. They have a lot of non-%/s advantages and it's easy to hit high, as a warrior should.

Arans have such a high range, it makes for the lack on %'s they do per hit

I know they are terrible without their wingbeat.. most of them can't even use wingbeat at RA/magnus/empress... Its hard to evade and cast wingebeat at same time (dat delay e.e)

Yea kaisers are pretty meh at chaos RA (not including queen but on von bon+ pierre you can usually get 1 wingbeat out), Magnus if you're doing it properly and not waiting on binds, and i guess CHT if you care for it. We do really well everywhere else that we can wingbeat. I wingbeat 24/7 pretty much everywhere else.

That's where the differences lie. The reason is because I like to cooperate with others (2-3 people is fine but having more than that is too much for me) over solo'ing bosses. Maybe it's because of today's maple videos that makes people want to solo bosses but I really have fun when I'm communicating with someone else. For example, in Abyss, I would bring my DA friend to bind bosses like Von Bon just to kill him in less than 10 seconds compared to 2 minutes because of his lame insta kill move. Its not bad that you would choose a class that does a lot of damage when you put enough time/mesos in the character but I usually stick to a playstyle of a character and if I like it, I would just put all my time/effort to improve that class. I guess that is what makes me a drk-focused person. :b

Insult to Injury is the only thing I can think of. I don't think Threaten actually counts as a status effect.

If not too much of a hassle to you, is it possible to show the damage of the un-nerfed soul master. When speeding sunset and dance of moon did 600% 4 times. Reason for asking is with the upcoming patch to GMS the rework of Cygnus. I have a feeling they will get the un-nerfed one but I could be wrong so don't waste your time until the 5th, so we can actually see which version comes to GMS. Unless of coarse you are bored and have some extra free time

we're not gonna get the tespia version, tespia is used for testing purposes so KMS didn't get the "nerfed" version, they got the -balanced- version and that's what we're going to get too most probably

highly doubt so... kMS never really got the 600% one. Anyway, MSEA still has the original, pre-nerf AB, Kaiser and Xenon, and yet my Soul Master has the 360% swirling/sunset.

I doubt that. Zero is unique; a one time ever class. Nerfing and then buffing a class that no one can create is a waste of an update to those who weren't there to make one. It alienates players and Nexon is better off buffing the classes who can't compete as directly with zero. Needless to say the same rules don't apply to zero in game or otherwise.

Also, nerfing Zero will just prove that "one time ever class" is just total bull and will just be released again at another date.
