The problem with my staff is that I cubed my staff 120 times already and when Big Bang comes around, my staff becomes even more obsolete when compared to the Lv.130 wands. Even though my staff is glowing green, it hardly has more magic than a clean Lv.130 wand, gets 3% fewer potential bonus per line, and requires too much unnecessary luk to wear.
The only real value attached to my Lv.103 Fire Staff is its sentimental value. I've invested far too much effort and time into this staff to stop cubing at around only a ~15% damage boost. I want 30% bossing damage and and at least %int, %magic, %total damage, or %crit on one of the two secondary lines.

I'm really interested why your crits were only 110%. When I had 8% crit on my wand, my crits were 200% damage.
Only differences I can see are the levels, and wand/staff.

About the 8% crit being 6% thing...
Just took a gander at the data.
4% crits should be 1% * job
8% crits should be 2% * job
3/6/9/12% crits (unique only) are displaying correctly.
I didn't know the display strings were separate from the actual percents but apparently so.

Post-BB that 33 extra MA clean from the staff eradicates any bonus luklesses have with 80-100 more int, depending where luk was capped.

@ Stereo: That explains a lot. Good thing I checked it then. The 6% really threw me off in my bossing-time calculations.
@Sn1perJohnE: I'm not peaching about having too much luk. I'm saying that my staff is worth less than it should be, because there's no point in getting LUK just to wear a staff that has less magic and less potential bonuses than a lukless wand.

True, i guess you should just leave yer staff at what it is now Harrison, and start working on getting a 163 staff and work on that when you got it. The staff you have now will last you til then.

Your crit is definitely +110% damage, not +100% (or 200%) as you stated earlier. I guess the +110% damage is universal.

Yeah I wasn't really testing it enough to find that extra 10%. Now I'm wondering if this will be changed when BB comes around.
