Went from doing 30-35 min bot matches to doing 20-25 min bot matches consistently.

man I love it when I get one of those games solo top where I go really passive and doesn't harass then the enemy team goes really passive too and doesn't harass also, so in the first 5 min we end up basically agreeing to a non-harass treaty and farm all day. Both teams end up going "wtp is going on here" and then fails ganking 1 by 1 because we sort of doesn't help with ganks and warn each other. I had 2 of these games this week, first was me as sion vs xin zhao, second game was me as gangplank vs garen. I really wish I owned nasus and done this when I get these games, then I would of done TONS of damage. Anyways eventually both teams all go top because they mad at "why is top so fking peaceful" because you know, "no one likes the intense action on top lane"(sarcasm) The only other time I got a match like this was when I was nasus during free week vs rammus solo top, same result anyways. too bad gangplank's farm advantage isn't as good as nasus' dmg though

About to do my first ever rank game since my friends have begged me to join one...
Kind of nervous to be honest after some of the people ive talked to about ranked games. Seem to make sound horrifyingly hard and impossible

No, they're marked $10 or $25, all you do at the register is activate it.

Solo queue is a pain in the ass because you have to hope your team isn't braindead. At least when you're duo queueing with someone, you're with someone who SHOULD be good, so it's not as ridiculous.
People at 1200 elo are pretty dumb.

Did some duo ranked with a friend of mine. Since we're both gold now there was hardly any pressure so we just had fun with it. Won 4 out of 6 games, including one where we laned against Riot's very own Dr. Lyte as he sported a very nice Candy Cane Miss Fortune skin. So jelly.
Final game of the night we laned as me on Draven and him on Taric vs. Ezreal and support...Udyr. Which turned out to be annoying as hell because Udyr and his god damn bear stuns on both of us and Ezreal's general slipperyness made it hard to lock him down for kills. But we ended pretty well with me picking up a quadra and a triple ending up with a score of 16/6/6. Fun stuff.

Wasn't doing so hot with Malzahar, and allied Skarner decides to deny me blue for the rest of the game because I was "feeding", and talk a bit of trash towards me. Pretty much left me for dead, essentially. This was when I was 0/4/2
Never gave an eff - I usually don't let blue buff impact my performance as Malzahar - and started to look my mistakes, improve on my shortcomings, and use that to help my teammates win the match. I slowly started to come back from my slow start, ended up 10/9/14, and provided a lot of utility/zone control for my team.
At the end of the game, I told Skarner in post-game chat (with everyone in the room):
"Skarner, I wanted to let you know kindly that this is why you don't abandon your teammate. There's always opportunities for comeback in this game. This isn't DotA.
"Needless to say, he left quietly, probably feeling a bit bad about leaving me in the dust. Vindication + staying positive feels great man

Buh...people are really dumb in ranked games.
Freaking people on my team..felt like the purposely disconnected as theyre about to leash my red. And boom a shaco comes out of nowhere and stabs me for first blood. Kind of went down hill from there : / And considering we had their inhibitiors. > _ > No one watched the map but me it seems like..as they backdoored their way in.
Why we banned rengar over Shaco is beyond me.

Rengar would have also come out of nowhere and stabbed you for first blood, second blood, and eighth through tenth blood.

I'm gonna try a hybrid build for Elise one game, I think it'd be kinda cool. Shoes, Mallet, Rage blade, Gunblade, Zhonya, Abyssal. Idk about the rage blade, but something like that. Maybe instead of rage blade I get wits end, and instead of abyssal I'd get dcap. Anyway, wanna try something like this. Also Sheen. Never tried it on Elise yet. Love me some sheen.[/COLOR]

Played a bot game where they kept rushing at me 1 at a time while I trying to recall; pulled off 28 kills. Also did 2 PvP matches with my roommate who's also new, and we won both of them.
