50% to go to hit 24, oof. Should I still be doing Astral Coven?

If you can clear Masters in roughly 3 minutes, then nothing can really match the EXP from the dungeon and the commision board. You could also do Sanctuary Nexus if you're more interested in EXP while finding decent drops.

Takes me 5 to clear it on hard, lol.

How the hell do you guys clear dungeons so fast? o_o I take average like 7 minutes :C

Are clerics really considered DPS classes? o.O

Getting good damage is a great way to clear dungeons faster. Certain effects gained from crafting epics will also really help with bosses.

lol Pallys would apply to the same logic i suppose.

Hoping that once i get my acrobat ready, i can just go all out speed crazy. Pallys are so slow T.T

Edit:

This guy is just awesome. -Hime- looks like even crappier crap when compared to him:

When's PvP coming out? Why isn't it out? We want it now? Why isn't there a level cap increase?

Sorry, those aren't valid points, those are demands. We will release content when it's ready, not when players have fits of rage.

When servers are having hiccups and players can't log in, we need to work on those first. What's the point of adding shiny new things when players can't even access it? What's the point of increasing levels when there is no content to compliment those levels?

I see many players having to remind others that this is still open beta.

Open Beta: Open betas serve the dual purpose of demonstrating a product to potential consumers, and testing among an extremely wide user base likely to bring to light obscure errors that a much smaller testing team may not find.

This is exactly what players have done for us and we appreciate it very much. While some players are in open beta to play this game just for fun, there are others who have been great contributors towards making this game awesome for launch.

Well i got to level 15 on my mystic mage, i fucking love the new skill's. Quick questions though;

How many skill crests can you wear at once?
Which ones are really reccomended for mystics
And lastly whats the top of the line gear cost? I'm attempting to merch up a decent amount of money, so I need a good figure to set my goal at.

4 by the time you hit lv 40. We're only able to use 2 though by 24.
No clue.
Probably 300g or higher if you're looking for a crafted (has some sort of characteristic) lv 24 equip that's at least +10 enhanced and has potential.

Top of the line gear would be blue +12, crafted with Intelligence (for you), with 4 lines. The lines should include %Phys/Magic dmg on weapon, with % main stat, % dark element. Armour should have lines with %HP/MP, intelligence and %MP recovery.

As of the current level cap, you can have 2 skill crests equipped. Not entirely too sure about for mystics, but the crest for triple orbs seems pretty expensive, so i'd assume it's useful.

Tongue Doubt it. It's not too difficult to make good gear though, just aim for level 23 green stuff as these can be mass enhanced at a lower cost overall. Getting lines of % HP and % main stat should be a priority on armour, although just having % HP isn't too bad. I think the DN wiki has the % rates for enhancing. I think the boom rate remains around 25% until 10+, but i'm probably off by a bit.

Goal for someone with about 500G budget should be aiming for 10+ green. It's not too difficult, but personally I aim to have an item to compare my enhancing project to. If a +8 Goblin crossbow is weaker then my +10 Green crossbow, then i'll enhance the goblin until it either booms (in which I keep the green at +10), or until it becomes stronger then my +10 green, in which case i'll enhance the green instead. Hopefully that makes sense.

Nevermind figured it out

Original Dragon Nest Thread - CommanderJinn - 2011-08-10

Normal and Magic don't need materials to enhance (besides money). Magic for levels 15+ need crude onyx to enhance passed +8. Rare equips always need crude onyx to enhance. After +5 you need 2 crude onyx to enhance rare items.

I think the general target for skill crests, much to the common folks logic, isn't damage boost. The crests you really want are the ones that boost the skills' animation OR cuts some of the cooldown. For example, my high grade holy kick plate lets me basically kick_kick instead of kick_____kick. See how much better that is? For other characters it should be the same- as an acrobat you'd want to get rid of cooldowns so that you can continuously combo into other moves instead of falling apart.

LOL i did this with my archer's equips. i found so many of them that i could mass enhance them. managed to get a +10 pair of pants and a +9 glove and shoe x3

Which isn't really that spectacular considering the whole it's only level 10 armor. Hoping to job advance today and level to use my +6 level 16 epic bow Big Grin

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Eolias - 2011-08-10

KhainiWest Wrote:What is the run down on how to enhance? I haven't actually found a clear guide to it, as in like, what materials ect.

Enhancing can be used on armour or weapons, as far as I know you can't enhance rings/necklace/earrings. It's just like scrolling and each success will add extra HP/MP on armours and Phys/Mdmg on weapons. This scales pretty well, so a weapon at like +12 will give close to an extra 400 more damage compared to when it's clean. After rank 6 the item can break. It is generally preferred to enhance green level 23 items because they do not require Crude Onyx' to enhance from +1 compared to level 24 rare blues, instead being at +8 when it'll require 2 Crude Onyx' per upgrade. An item can either go up a rank, fail (materials are wasted), boom, or derank (which only occurs past +6).
