73/635 hits were criticals. Magical ring was worn throughout.

 Conclusion

I first tested the damage by using the staff in conjunction with my magical ring. The critical damage of the staff alone is +110%. It did not stack with the critical damage on my ring, which is +20%. Wearing both of them still gave me +110%.

Either +110% is a critical damage cap, or the staff just overshadows the magical ring, though I cannot conclude either with only this staff. If the reason is the latter, then the +110% could be due to the level range or it's just that all weapons that have a critical rate naturally have +110% damage.

Upon testing the critical rate, I found that the critical rate is actually only 6%, not 8%. I counted during the above-shown bigfeet, and then at wolf spiders (not shown). At wolf spiders, I tested many times, with the ring on and off. The critical rate on the staff (6%) stacks with the magical ring (5%) to give me 11% critical rate.

Darkness effect. Pretty nice effect, actually. The beetle wasn't able to hit me with its attacks and all, and I could walk though it and stand on top of it and it'd still miss me. I'm not sure if this effect works on bosses, but it'd be really nice if it did.

Tested the critical again on Dunas Type D, which is pretty boring but allowed me to easily count criticals, since I didn't need to worry about survival. The critical rate on the staff is definitely 9% and gives +110% damage. Critical rate definitely stacks with magical ring and critical damage definitely doesn't stack with magical ring.

It was 3% LUK right off the bat. Will be cubing this later since it gives the same % potential as a HTP, but was a fraction of the cost. I'm only 10~14 DEX off a reverse dagger anyway, so HTP's 17 higher woulld be overkill.

Epic on second cube. Will be cubing till 6%+ LUK or Unique rank, which ever comes first.
