Wouldn't it be easier to just say that not including stationary bosses, the monster's speed value is how much faster they are than you. So a positive speed would mean they are faster and a negative would mean they are slower than you.

Since our default speed is 100%, if the monster's speed is 60 (pap's 2nd form) then, in our terms, pap's speed is 160%.

A speed of 145... well lets see... 145 > 60 by.... a lot... so if you've gone to kill Pap a lot and you don't just pin it the moment you can, you know you have no hopes of outrunning something that can go up to 145 (245% in our terms).

Notedly 0 would mean that there is ZERO different between our speeds and the monster's speeds (i.e. orange mushrooms have a speed of 0, so they move at our 100% speed).

Once again, stationary bosses have 0 speed too, but they lack walking frames so it wouldn't make a difference if they had 1000 speed, right?

8000 fucking weapon defense? Great, and knowingly Kradia is short of mages means that it might take a while to kill this boss before other servers. =(

I really doubt Heroes Will will remove Zombify status and the map from the extraction looked pretty similar to the ones in the Horntail Cave itself. Pretty much the parties are going to be similar with melees and range, but seduce party will be replaced by mage parties (making Shadowers useless at this point then..)

What seduce parties? There is not seduce.

CKPQ Bossing Strategy - Russt - 2009-03-05

^ He means HT seduce parties. Instead of those, there'll be Morgana parties.

Because of posts like these. Your reading comprehension levels are like, what ._.

Okay, sorry, enough for today.

if you want i can render the boss map for you, so you can see it in better quality.

Working off of that point and on the 1/1+poison, it breaks my heart that nobody has mentioned that shadowers are the only class that don't have a likelihood of being owned by it. Mesoguard takes half damage of all 1/1 so everytime a shadower gets 1/1'd their hp only gets reduced by one half.

Yes, I came out of lurker mode just to say that. *poof*

That would be great Mr Haha Big Grin

That and can you let me know if they changed the stats to that bow? Crimson bow?

CKPQ Bossing Strategy - HolyStrikerH - 2009-03-05

nice thread, I never thought a PQ might be fun o.O

I just thought about PickPocket the physically immuned boss.. since M.E has nothing to do with defense (i think) but yeh its just me the always thinking a shadower might help Glitter

I think the defenses are similar to Zak's def up where ME does around 2-3 damage tops.

And yes, I was comparing HT parties with respect to CWK. Even with ME on DS, that would be a problem if the Shadower gets struck by Zombify during DS since Bishops can't heal him.

Quote:Since Holy Shield has a cooldown, I recommend Time Leap just to get more Holy Shield time.

No offence, but leaping Holy Shield is simply retarded when you can leap Echo/Resurrection for better usage.

Aren't there certain skills that ignore w. def, like Avenger? I would lol if a ton of NLs started avengering the boss to try to down it.

Uh, if i recall correctly, ME ignores a monster's natural defense, however it can not pierce the super def up that bosses and some monsters use. Since this is the monster's natural defense, ME should bypass it quite nicely. Same with Assaulter.... I think.

CKPQ Bossing Strategy - Kevo - 2009-03-05

Hmmies, got kicked out of PQ somehow, and can't return for 15minutes...

CKPQ Bossing Strategy - Russt - 2009-03-05

Leaping Holy Shield is retarded because you can use it ten times for every one time you can use Time Leap anyway. And that's assuming Leap is maxed.

CKPQ Bossing Strategy - heronz - 2009-03-05

i think heroes will finally play a crucial part in this.... apple + brandish hits 2 or 3 of the bosses ftw?

Sacrifice(DK), Assaulter(CB), and I think a couple other CB/Shadower skills do.

And obviously monster w.def is useleses vs. magic atk.

Avenger doesn't. So it's down to those other classes for onceKiss

Sacrifice on similar base to mine does 350% or 7-17k (non-berserk), 16-28k with Apples. If it is possible to Berserk though it would double that.

Oh but if it's elemental weak then Paladins avoid some defense too. As Ice-weak it's not so great, but (eg.) my 2000~5000 base range will only be reduced to 1~4000 (and then skill multiplied to 1~14000 for ACB, ~22000 max for Blast)
With Apples my range goes to 1000~8500, which is 5500-47000 with Blast.

Other classes (NL/Bowmaster) work differently.
Eg. with similar geared, an NL's base range would be 2000-4000 (660 luk 120 atk) which drops to 1~1 due to monster w.def. With apples it's 3500~7000 which is 1-3000.
At that point finding TT does a max of 12k per star with SE and apples ... hmm.

Hella alot of avoidability means you need more accuracy to hit it. It's not "warrior" friendly as you think it would be.
