No you...

Another question: Why don't warriors ever get physical attacks (punches and kicks, preferably with your armor on) ? Because they were saving them all for infighters?

I don't recall a type of warrior that used any kinds of punches or kicks with armor; just by observation the armor would hinder free movement of the arms and legs. And yes they were probably saving it for the infighters.

Well a question that will actually help me now: I'm finally level 52 and getting a zakum helmet on Thursday, provided I'll have ~125 accuracy and a damage range up to ~1750 where should I train? These are the monsters I could think of ...
-FoG
-Voodoos/Hoodoos
-Griffons
-STDs
-Zombies (Do people still train here?)
or LMPQ

LMPQ will net you the most meso and decent exp, but it'll get boring rather fast. FoG is bad for most classes, however since warriors can mob, it shouldn't be too bad. Voodoo/hoodoo will most likely be the best exp, but crowded with many idiots. Griffons are good too and can be better than v/hoodoos, however you'll have to pay attention all the time you train there. STDs are a weaker version of v/hoodoos really, and a bit less crowded.

Ask a Warrior Thread. - kleptophobia - 2008-08-06

Yeah I've been doing griffons for the last 3 levels, they physically drain me Frown but I think I'll be able to get a Voodoo/Hoodoo map I'm quite dedicated. Oh and I noticed you didn't mention zombies, what has happened to zombies ? >=\

Thanks Glitter

Zombie maps were turned to rubbish over a year and a half ago. No one trains there anymore when there are better alternatives.

Yeah, the layout of the actual maps were completely ruined, plus there are better monsters with an HP:EXP ratio now.

Zhelm is best for your money. I would save for one asap. It also adds str bonus so you don't have to sacrifice damage for accuracy.

Use a maple weapon...you'll have enough acc.

Is a 2-handed sword better overall than a polearm in 1st job or vice versa? I'm under the impression that they're about equal but result in different handling, but I just want to make sure.

Ask a Warrior Thread. - Noob - 2008-08-10

i think 2h is more stable and polarm is more range its w/e you like

The 2h is more stable like Noob says, however the polearm has a higher max damage but is more unstable because the minimum is lower. Also the physical reach of the polearm is greater than a 2h sword, but you make a sacrifice because if it's not a slash, all polearm stabs are greatly weakened. Swords deal the same amount of damage regardless of slashing or stabbing, while polearms, if I remember, have a 2/3 chance of slashing rather than stabbing (even though there are 2 stab animations compared to 1 slash).

In addition to Hiien's points, you should also remember about the weapon speed difference.
From my knowledge, I believe that most PAs in the lower levels are slow (8), meaning they are much slower than your level 40+ PAs.

FA or no FA on a hybrid spearman? Does FA really speed up training?

Ask a Warrior Thread. - Stereo - 2008-08-12

It depends how you train, it speeds up single target attacks but doesn't improve mobbing.

Could you go to a bit details here?

against 1 or 2 monsters, final attack is efficient. Over 2 monsters, and normal slash blast is better.

Devil's Sunrise Wrote:against 1 or 2 monsters, final attack is efficient. Over 2 monsters, and normal slash blast is better.

Is it due to damage reduction as SB hits more monsters on the back? So instead of wasting time for a FA, casting a new SB would be more efficient?
