So, reiterating my question, how do you go about making your cosplays? Buy them done, sew them yourselves, go to someone who makes clothes with your model?

I do it as a combination of the first two. If I get a costume and I see that certain parts look too cheap, I take it upon myself to rip them off and make them look better.

That one Dark Link is way too damn tall... Especially in comparison to Zelda. Link is supposed to be relatively the same height as Zelda, or shorter, if you look at Ocarina of Time.

Unless you were asking about costumes? Usually if you just want to buy it you can use the internet. Or sew it yourself using fabric materials.
