Such equipment seems plausible for my Ice Mage, since I'm not capping my LUK, but for my Hero? F'uck. I'm level 123 with 4 base DEX. How the hell am I supposed to get my DEX up enough? 123 → 140 would be about 85 DEX pumped. 85 base DEX at 140 means I need another 85 added dex from equipment. *sigh*

I'm going to be level 157+ before I can even equip these new PVP sets.



Edit: LOL @ me... I was multiplying my stats by 3 instead of 5. I hate being tired...

Pretty glad I decided to go regular/low stat for now. Mainly because I'm freaking poor, but also because I expected equips like these to show up down the line eventually. I wonder what's with the absurdly high secondary stat requirements, though. Does Nexon Korea expect everyone to have egged HTPs, cZAK helms, and a bunch of all stat +% potential equips?

I'm interested in that loophole mentioned earlier in the thread...

SO it's been killed 10 times in 2 years, so what? My point still stands there. It's not even remotely close to how many times HornTail has been killed (excluding hacked kills). Even CHaos Zakum has been killed more and it's not just because the drops suck, it's also because its really hard.

If they can be made through the Prrofessional skill then I guess all is good. Tongue

Full Str bonus for wearing all items (For Warriors)= 143Str
Full Dex Bonus for wearing all Items (For Warriors)= 128Dex

Primary Stat most Statless have at lvl 200 = 999
Secondary Stat most Statless have at lvl 200 =23?

So 23-170 = 147 Secondary stat needed to Equip these items at lvl 140-200 (Because you can put those 23 Secondary w/e you want).

I dont see why people are complaining O.o. Potential Stat % affects your base stat and those added by equipment so no problem there, I dunno about Maple Warrior thought.

WOW! Did they upgraded the stats on the level 140 items or something? Getting up to 127 stats on the secondary stat, and more than 127 to their main stat, along with making the gloves a higher leveled SCG and sexy set bonuses like +45 attack? Wow, I'd gladly raise my DEX above 20 to wear that stuff if I need to.

Once again, new items like this kinda screw over older high level players. A lvl 200 like locked can't add more into dex.

Not to say I don't love the new equips, I'm considering keeping my second stat= lvl +30 to make it easier.

my plan would be to get.
80 base dex (depending on how many % equips i have)
get a chaos horntail pendant (+40 dex) and a chaos zakum helm (+21 dex) and an overall with 15-20 dex.
21 dex cape ftw.
and that should probably add up well for the 170/160 dex weapon.
This should probably work.
(80 base dex isnt too much for level 130/140 is it?)

They're still trying to get rid of statless.. and it still won't work because none of the other versions give a pomegranate as long as they get money, and players are too stubborn.

If I could get a hand of these items I would possibly do something like this

50 dex base I already got
+40 dex from CHT pendant
+10 dex from earrings
+15 dex MORE OR LESS from rings (including the lvl 130 one)
+21 dex from lvl 140 cape (Since the cape is the only one that doesnt require stats)
+13 from MW lvl 20

With that, I would only need +21 dex more, which could go down depending on the potential I can get on some items, otherwise I would raise my base DEX seeing how the bonus from this set is worth it.

It isn't that bad really. Only those that wanna stay statless are screwed Rolleyes

Edit: those lvl 130 rings don't seem "one-of-a-kind" and also have slots so one could eassily get +25 dex from rings alone, reducing the gap to 11 dex points only Biggrin

Edit 2: I'm not even counting hammer slots...

To anyone saying we will never see these new eguips because the boss would be to hard is delusional. One reason pb isn't killed daily like zak or ht is pre-bb and pre-potential it was nearly impossible. The dps needed pre potential/bb was nearly impossible and collecting 900 masks prebb to even try pb was a pain. Another reason is besides being first/fastest/least amount of people w/e accomplishment you want pb is pointless in gms. Timeless gear we have alien pq(If we get npc back) mw30 ht drops it and less of a headache.
