I remember once having the discussion (probably on IRC) that Passion Fruit should replace cum/semen.

Unfortunately, we don't say that enough.

Good luck with the new endeavor, Eos. Although I'm not on here often enough to ask any real important questions relevant to the site, I do want to leave a suggestion: don't add any extra rules to enforce etiquette unless it's absolutely necessary.

FrozNlite Wrote:Of all the formatting tags out there we all know and love on various sites, that's honestly the only one we don't have here on SP that would be nice. It's not like we CAN'T use colors, bold, underline, etc., like mentioned above, but a nice block of color helps keep long posts organized. Just a suggestion, in the end.

Fine, it's added.
The customizable version of it will show up later.

Transition Q&A - Derosis - 2010-07-07

On a scale of 1~10.

How much would you change this in an overall fashion.

Transition Q&A - Jon - 2010-07-07

[header]Sexy[/header]
But kinda off-putting; looks a lot like the post headings (and every other heading).

Transition Q&A - Rob - 2010-07-07

[color="#000080"] OH, do headers work now?

[header]SEXAY HEADER[/header] [/color]

Transition Q&A - Stereo - 2010-07-07

Do the image blocks have to act on the entire post? Does weird things in quotes, eg. see image threads.

Then again, img tags inside quotes might be better off defaulting to spoilered images or something. I dunno.

Eosian Wrote:The R&R is going to be cleaned up a bit more, specifically in regards to the porn rule, which seems to confuse people since it's more about indecency/obscenity than outright porn. There may be other tweaks, but that's the one I'm aware of being on the to do list just now.

I hope things become more strict with regards to the indecency/obscenity side of things here, I find a lot of things offend my sense of decency.Goggleemoticon

picture this as if it were a maplestory guide

Indenting is your friend? I think it looks more professional.
Eosain keep up the great updates! your rather good at this.

derosis Wrote:On a scale of 1~10.

That's impossible to predict. Even if I make a level 1 change on your scale once every month after a year would that add up to a 10?
I wouldn't even know how to rate the changes, since a tiny change to one person is earth moving to another. The header tag for example.

imjon Wrote:But kinda off-putting; looks a lot like the post headings (and every other heading).

As I said, the customizable one will come later so you can set your own background and foreground.

Transition Q&A - ThatWasMyKil - 2010-07-07

That's because the quote was missing the same 'keep my crap in me' CSS that the post bodies themselves were. It's been adjusted.

was not playing nicely with the header, fixed now.

Transition Q&A - Felicitates - 2010-07-07

[COLOR="Magenta"]Eos, I have a question for you.

What are you going to do with the Maple Guides Forum? A lot of the guides seem to be somewhat outdated. Are you going to draw everyone back to that forum with some sort of event or are you just going to leave it as it is? The reason I ask is because we're considered to be the forum with the most up-to-date content available. Unfortunately our guides section is not up to that level of quality. Will you do something to correct this?

Thanks,
-Larka[/COLOR]

Right-o. Forgot that part. Rolleyes

And is there any way you could make the huge-image thing have a scroll bar on the top? ifthatmakessense

EDIT: Example:
 Spoiler
It would be nice not to have to scroll down, scroll it right, scroll back up, etc, just to see the rest of the top of the image.

Transition Q&A - TøbiasBlack - 2010-07-07

something i noticed thats annoying: if an image were to stretch the page, a slider is put on the bottom underneath of it. however, when you move the slider bar, the text underneath of the image, and outside of the spoiler, gets affected by the slider as well. dunno if its just me on FF, but its something i noticed.

[header]
and oh cool headers
[/header]
.

It's because the new scrollbar thing treats where the image is as one div. So if a person puts an image in the body of the post then the entire post is scrollbarified. Does that make sense? :<

User submitted content is dependent on user interest.
I may consider a contest of sorts to get some new/updated guides but it's not a primary focus at this time.

imjon Wrote:And is there any way you could make the huge-image thing have a scroll bar on the top? ifthatmakessense

The scroll bar is handled by your browser, there's no way for the site to dictate how the browser handles scrolling at this time.

not at all.

here, all use this to explain what i mean:

[[budnfjd
dymjudygun
dnyud
stnudyfun]]
[[(random image)
sdfgsdfh]]
[[sdhsdhfsn
sdhdsahvad

sdhybsdtfb
ytinsbfdj]]

what is in bold, and in italics, gets moved.

so say that, within the spoiler, theres text underneath the image. that is affected.
but the text outside of the spoiler, after the image, is also affected. what comes before the image is not.
