is there a level limit for exchanging the stones? if not then putting the stones on a lvl 5x or something would be good exp (100k per stone).

Ridley's book is one of the requirements to make bosshunter equips. I havent heard yet for any other use for that.

But how is it related to Ridley?
Would it change the rates of the items if you hold it?
Usually items that specifically have the NPC in the name should correspond in some way.

Ridley wrote the book. It's listed under Isaac's iTCG item thread. The statue even mentions it.

I do believe that everything comes from everything and the mastery books/some equips just have a really rare rate at being spit out. Confused

@jikos - I suggested a similar thing, and then was reminded that the boss item is an etc, untradeable one. You would have to have the character loot it, get the stone, and then trek up there (with friends depending on your level), and then turn it in. Not worth the experience by the time you could loot it. Confused

BTW, the bosshunter equips give 1m for forging, and there's no untradeable etc needed. Much better exp there. ;P
