yay gachbox event with no NX Big Grin

I might postpone some SC2 play for some maple this summer Big Grin

I'm guessing those gach boxes will take nx to open, like the gold boxes...

HighOnMushrooms Wrote:The Explorer Box event does not require NX. Monsters drop the boxes and you can open them, that's it. (unless they changed it)

Unless Nexon America changes it, no.

Since those boxes were apparently in other versions, does anyone know if they were tradable? I've been considering changing the hair and eyes of a number of my alts, but I'm still boycotting the purchase of NX and the MTS route is taking forever since I have fail luck at drops and can't solo reasonable bosses reliably yet.

Main reason I ask is simply how long it would take a perma-beginner for example to kill loads of mobs. Another reason being I'm most likely have to focus on a character I've never really cared for to get it to 50 during this event. Having a character for each and every class across my accounts, the only one in my main that I can recreate for this event would be my F/P.

I don't really see giving away things like those basic character NX items hurting their profits either. Especially not now that NX items are non-transferable between the new character types.

Pretty sure they're not tradeable.

Return of the Explorers Event! - Kitteh - 2010-06-14

Oh, I'm sure we'll see it immediately when the patch rolls around.

ifit is indeed not nx related then i can absolutely positively guarantee you that the pot : good prize ratio will be ridiculous.

Oh I'm sure it'll be nuts.

The box event is probably the boxes with Purple snowboards from other versions. They probably just added that stuff in to mjake it similar to the Aran/Evan event

Return of the Explorers Event! - Japanadian - 2010-06-15

ignore this

Return of the Explorers Event! - RIPGobies - 2010-06-16

I'm having a problem. I'm not receiving any of the "gifts" from Cassandra. My adventurer is lvl 26 now, started it today from scratch. Was I suppose to open a quest or something? This quest is screwed up.

Did you double-click the bulb above your character to start the quest chain as a beginner? Working fine for me so far and I've gotten to 22. Also, you have to talk to Cassandra in person to pick up your gifts.
