Fire fang pierces wonderguard even if fire fang isn't super effective on the pokemon it's being used on.
Also, Magnezone learns Magnet Rise if you want it to have levitate.

Most weaviles use ice shard to combat Choice Item users, so your magikarp would be taken out.
