Just found out one of my friends from high school has died. She added me on facebook just a few days ago (I hardly ever go on there), I accepted her request and remember what a funny person she was.
Then I log onto my facebook today and see people saying she'd died yesterday. I can't believe it. She had a blood clot in her lung and had a heart attack at the age of 20. It's just shocking.
We weren't like best friends or anything, but every time we talked we had a good laugh together. She was laughing ALL the time, I always made her laugh out loud just by pulling a funny face.
I don't know what to think really. 20 is so young for something like that, and so sudden too.

Officially moved out of Housing. Its somewhat bittersweet, but it is definitely the end of an era.
In the morning, I have an interview with a hiring agency for a possible job opportunity (the position was most likely filled already because it was ~3 weeks ago and I am just now having free time, but yolo, interview experience). After that, I am cold applying for an assistant art director position with a health food company that is local to SoCal (Lassen's for the curious), which will be quite interesting if I get the position. I kinda wish they included past experience requirements so I could gauge my possibilities, but whatever.
And after all that, I go back to Housing, because I need to pick up a chair, and 2 things I forgot :\

Visited my grandma because it was her birthday about two weeks ago. I didn't really feel guilty about postponing the visit every day until yesterday when I actually saw her, she's changed a lot and has become more pleasant to spend the time with and talk with. My aunt was also there and she seemed to be in a good mood, which was also weird because she used to be bitchy about anything she could. I actually had fun spending time with them, even if it was just a couple hours. I accepted their invitation for lunch the other weekend. It's weird because I'm also enjoying the company of another aunt, his husband and my cousin. I don't know if it's me who has changed and has become more accepting of his own family or if it's them changing, but suddenly it doesn't feel like a terrible idea to spend time with my family.

First interview was okay, I was kinda miffed that the company is really just a temp agency (I thought it was at least a temp and hiring agency, but its more temp). The one at Lassens im kinda eh about as well. Just dropped the application off, but I didnt realize that the title was really "assistant to the art direct", where as there craigslist ad said "assistant art director". Anywho, we'll see how that goes then.
Back to the first one, I already got confirmed for an interview with the company, and I even more irked by it. The companies one and only review on GlassDoor doesnt make for a promising impression, but luckily, the review is from 2009, so we will see.

Lost both of my jobs....
Ever since I've been dealing with family drama, my work has suffered.
I didn't think that one of my supervisors would can me based on my absence way back in November, though.
As for the other...well, I just lost a lot of motivation to do things because my projects were essentially ripped apart by my supervisor.
Can't say I didn't deserve it. I take 100% ownership that it was my own fault. Maybe I took everything I had for granted.
