I'm kinda sad that none of the Gen 1 big ones got a Mega evo (beside Gengar and Gyarados) Frown . I wanted Mega Dragonite, Nidoking and Alakazam. But at the same time, I'm happy that aerodactyl and probably Jinx and Pinsir got one.

I find it to be the opposite actually, the battle themes are awesome, with a lot of them being amazing remixes of past themes or being new and awesome (my favourite is the gym leader theme).
Overworld themes however are a bit less memorable in my opinion.
