Looks like my jungle lee build= my jungle skarner build since he scales with ap quite well but should still be a melee dps.

Stonewall speaks out about Skarner's jungling capabilities; so far its all negative

Edit: lol @ this guy, raging @ a Soraka for having extremely low CS in an ranked game. Typical low ELO scrubs

I used ad reds and quints, armor yellow, mp reg/level blue. I wasn't able to do the standard blue path completely, but luckily I had opportunity to gank so it was not in vayne Rolleyes

I'll have to mess around with runes to find out how to maximize his jungling capabilities but he's an ok champ so far. Definitely not all that UP.

I built wriggles, boots 1, cutlass, boots 5 and they surrendered.

Though I've been hearing from some people that he may need a couple of minor tweaks to a couple of his abilities for him to be viable. True?

Agree. He's definitely not a bad champ per se, but I'd put him in tier 3/4. Needs more damage on his q and he'll be fine. (Or better scaling on his q)

I've seen people discussing Nashor's and Rageblade on him (not sure if that was here or not too), I think a Jax-like build would for him minus the Tabi.

My last 3 ranked games I've been the highest ELO and last 2 the teams were made of idiots :| seriously, they don't know what team comp is, they don't know where to place a ward (wards they buy because I tell them to) and they don't care. Last game I first picked Udyr since he's a great jungler and everything, well last pick decided to pick Skarner, for the first time "don't worry I tried him in a coop"... he also had tele and smite, knowing that I was the jungler....

In those games also, the enemy team normally has same ELO but they always get decent comps and non-idiots. Hate how random it is. I'm 5/4 now when I was 5/1 last week...

My last game would've been good and won easily if it weren't for a stupid brand who fed non-stop, he had almost half of our total deaths and he didn't know how to play brand (ulted around minions over 5 times).... Now my ranked wins and losses are the same (5/5). =(

What defensive items?

You haven't seen bad until you see a Karthus that purposely ignites minions and proceeds to tell you to look at his AP when you call him on it.

First normal game with Skarner. Results are skewed because the other team's Shaco was really bad, but I can make some conclusions anyways.

--Short range. His longest range skill is about that of TF's auto-attack range.
--Damage is fairly low, although it would scale pretty hard with AS, due to his Crystal Slash and shield not having a cast time. I will need to do more studies with how these skills interact with auto-attacks and whatnot.
--Mana costs are fairly low, and his Crystal Slash is really cheap, but he also has a moderately low mana pool. This opens up some potential for endless skill spamming fun if you get Tear, and possibly Chalice.
--Shield value is average, but the duration is longer than normal. It's not a bad mini haste outside of battle.
--Fracture is meh. If mana is not an issue, E + Q repeatedly, with W to stave off harass, works decently for lane sustaining. I'm not entirely sure of this, but you can't heal more than twice the tooltip value.
--Ult is quite short. It's not much of a repositioner, and will most likely be a ye olde CC. (It lasts long enough to drag an ulting Kennen away from your team, lol.) I'm not sure if you can actually hurt the champ you victimize yourself, aside from the initial and final damage, though other people can still unload. Oh, and you can't Flash while ulting.
--If Skarner's shield is broken before he can join a fight, he just kinda sucks and doesn't have any wind up for damage.

I'm still trying to figure out what the best item builds could be. This could take a while...

Well I'm calling BS for this game I just played...

So I was at my friend's house with another friend of mines playing LoL. Suddenly their internet goes *COUGH COUCH ACK COUGH* and 4 of us are now sitting ducks.

And all this time we were dominating the other team. FML -_-
