So I recently bought GP (he was on sale and I had some leftover RP). I'm now interested in jungling with him.

Besides Armor seals (obvious), what are the best runes for him to use in jungle? So far I see AS reds, armor pen reds, armor pen quints, AS blues, and even MR blues. Gah, any idea what's the best setup for him?

Oh and GP with full crit chance runepage = extremely sick during early game phase. Parrrley does so much with crit lol

12 armour pen hits a certain jungling number that I forget (0 armour on jungle monsters or something), and I'd go with scaling MR blues since those rule.

Abilities:

Energize (Passive): Basic attacks lower the cooldowns of Skarner's abilities by 1 second against champions and 0.5 seconds against non-champions.

Crystal Slash: Skarner lashes out with his claws, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies and charging himself with Crystal Energy for several seconds. If he casts Crystal Slash again while empowered by Crystal Energy, he deals bonus magic damage and slows all targets hit.

Crystalline Exoskeleton: Skarner gains a shield and while the shield persists his movement speed and attack speed are both increased.

Fracture: Skarner summons a blast of crystalline energy which deals damage to enemies struck and marks them. Any further damage dealt to marked targets by Skarner will allow him to consume the mark to heal himself.

Impale (Ultimate): Skarner suppresses an enemy champion and deals magic damage to it. During this time, skarner can move freely and will drag his helpless victim around with him. When the effect ends, Skarner's target will be dealt additional damage.

So it's a suppress, ok.

I'm thinking Skarner might be a tanky AD DPS type champ.

And if his CDs are low enough...I'm thinking Triforce might be a good thing to build on him. But I'll wait and see

Also, is this GP build good? I'm thinking of using Manamune, Yomuu's Ghostblade, IE, Berserker's Greaves (or Merc Treads if I'm getting focused a bit), Phantom Dancer, and BV. Though if situation warrants it, I can substitute PD and BV for the Atmogs combo (Atma's Impaler + Warmog).

manamune is a nono.

I think the best build is something like:

Trinity force (yeah, I didn't think rushing this was the best either, but believe me its amazing), IE, Atmas/pd, Bloodthirster, cleaver.

Defensive items as needed, cdr boots most of the time.

I can understand why Triforce is good on GP. Hell if the ideal situation happens - Parrrley triggers crit + Parrley procs Triforce and adds 150% of your AD - its a lot of damage dealt.

Yeah, GP isn't all that mana intensive, and Trinity Force is great when you think about the fact it applies on Parrrley hits and can crit.

Also, I think I'll make PD as one of the items that I can switch off (though I'll miss its massive atk speed boost, great crit chance boost, and movement speed boost) in case I need to build items for survival instead of full glass cannon. With Yomuu's Ghostblade, IE, full crit runepage, and masteries, I already have 62% crit. I think that's enough crit...hopefully. (Though 92% crit is sexy as hell)

You don't need the maximize your crit THAT much. If you go glass cannon triforce, ie, pd you'll die instantly. I like getting bloodthirster after ie if I'm not building defense,.

So this was the jankiest game I've ever played. Queued with Nasus and Sion, our other two teammates were insta-lock Yi and Sivir with Ghost and Teleport. What's a guy to do but go as Singed with ghost and tp?

Long story short, we repeatedly knocked inhibitors and we lost to a strong push with only our mid inhib down. They had two inhibs and a nexus tower down. Oracle's won them that game. Couldn't TP to wards :< They must've gone through 6 or 7 oracle's.

I just picked up GP as well and have jungled with him a couple times. I run atk speed reds, armor yellows, mr blues, 2 arpen 1 atk speed quint because its what I had on hand that gave a good atk speed/arpen combination. I haven't looked into Stonewall, but know that saintvicious does it a little differently. I have been using http://www.solomid.net/guides.php?g=1921 and its worked very well. I'm not sure if its 100% the same as SV, but its close.


Other than GP, I have been playing a lot of soraka, 7-0 the last two days. Also 10-0 in match history Smile but have a custom and co op game in there. f3 Four or five of the soraka games have been going bot lane with my friend on corki(he has a crazy rune page that starts him at 80 ad and 15?ish ap for stupid amounts of damage early) and all those games consist of us winning bot lane so hard that it doesn't matter what happens with the other three people on our team. Quite a few 20 minute games.

At first, I was like "is that even possible?"

Then I checked the math, and I was like "lolwut."

I also spied quite a few "Razer" runes in LoL's learning center. They aren't above the other tier 3 runes that we use, but special event runes tend to be cheaper. Which begs the question: since when were those available? o.O
