Kojo Wrote:I don't think the riding Pokemon thing is going to be much myself. It's probably just going to be some gimmick only usable in a few areas at best.

Unless you can jump up cliffs now.
Oh sweet acerus, if that's possible now.

Hypermug Wrote:Love the robin and panda, granted the panda will probably evolve into something slow and chunky.

Still praying that they introduce 8-way movement instead of the usual 4-way movement.

Shouldn't be hard with an analog stick now...can only hope.

Also, my friend linked me this fanart, which is funny/cool:

"Sylveon is Fairy-type. Some older Pokemon will be reclassified to Fairy, such as Mawile (Steel/Fairy)."
Mawile evolution? Finally, I hope so!

"A few attacks will be dual-typed."
And I still don't know the majority of strengths and weaknesses.

"You will be able to see a Pokemon’s EVs at a certain in-game facility. You will be able to boost the EVs through mini-games. It will take about two hours to get one stat to max EVs."
Yes.

"The professor’s English name is Patrice."
I miss you, tree themed professors. Frown
The game seems to be hosted in France/English place, right? Patrice is masculine in French. Actually meaning Patrick.
In English, Patrice is feminine. Meaning Patricia.
Maybe we will get a different gendered professor dependent on our gender choice? Iunno.

Quote:• Fairy will be a new type. It is weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, and super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting-type Pokemon.
• Sylveon is Fairy-type. Some older Pokemon will be reclassified to Fairy, such as Mawile (Steel/Fairy).
• Mewtwo has two new formes, not just one. Both are activated via items.
• The professor’s English name is Patrice.
• The Starter final evolutions are, as many people predicted, Fire/Psychic, Grass/Fighting, and Water/Dark.
• The first Gym is Bug, the second is Fairy, and the fourth is Fighting.
• A few attacks will be dual-typed.
• There will be a new type of battling style that Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate can participate in.
• You will be able to see a Pokemon’s EVs at a certain in-game facility. You will be able to boost the EVs through mini-games. It will take about two hours to get one stat to max EVs.

This seems very familar. I remember false rumors being spread before, especially concerning the Fairy-type rumor.

Found this. I'll never be able to look at Stantler again...though admittedly, I often forget it even exists.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Abrasive - 2013-05-12

Oh wow, Fairy being immune to Dragon is going to be crazy for wifi battles.

Yancham is my favorite out of the new 4 followed by Elikiteru. I just really hope they don't make its evolution too overly masculine and ruin it for me =(

[COLOR="#0000FF"]Being able to Ev train without having to battle sounds awesome, but I hope there's also going to be an easy way to take away evs too, because I'm going to be resetting till I get a modest fennekin with the hopes of using it as a competitive pokemon, and all those random evs will kill it. I also have this Scizor I wanna take the evs off of that I used in HG, and I'm too lazy to use the magnemite method to level up my hair dresser person in the avenue.

oh eww, i thought it raised IV's not EV's, don't care about that now.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Pink Bean - 2013-05-12

IVs can NEVER be changed. the pokemon is born with them and it stays the same
bred pokemon have 3 inherited from the parents and the rest generated randomly (or not so randomly with RNG abuse in certain games).

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - MasPan - 2013-05-13

Yancham screams potential Fighting/Dark evolution to me. That smirk.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Kojo - 2013-05-13

More info:
NeoGAF - View Single Post - PokéBOMB III: New X & Y details revealed in CoroCoro

"Central Karos Pokédex has at least 77 Pokémon in it
Coastal Karos Pokédex has at least 51 Pokémon in it
Mountain Karos Pokédex has at least 6 Pokémon in it"

It looks like the Pokdex is split into three different sections or something.

Those numbers don't mean much.

Either it includes old pokemon in the regional dex or all the new pokemon aren't included in the regional pokedex. One of those must be true because of the eevee/sylveon line

I applaud the new fairy type. Dragon is too stong.

ONE DAY I'll get a 3DS.
