Yeah, I skipped the legendaries and am only going back to catch them now. I never use legends in my team. I put them in a box. Only want them for the pokedex. Its frustrating because I want them caught and away, and they're taking time away from breeding.

I thought holding buttons was useless too.
But when I tried it that way, I was getting more shakes per ball. Rolleyes

I think it was Greg who posted it, but Lugia and RK9.
Lugia covers Waterfall, Surf, Fly, and Whirlpool. RK9 covers Strength, Cut, Rock Smash, and Rock climb. BAM. EVERYTHING GETS COVERED.

I prefer to use Pokemon that I wouldn't rather have as useful party members as HM slaves: Dragonite and Golduck. But this is Gen II. I don't even walk around with HM slaves, not even a Flyer. I just withdraw them when I need them.

I used HM slaves all the way until the Elite 4. Then I got some decent team with level 100s for the hell of it.

Who in the world would teach Lugia Whirlpool? Or Waterfall for that matter.
