Edit: Nope, you don't have to use them ever. Upgrade unlocks are progress based. Kind of sad, I loved leveling weapons.

Spent most of my free time in October playing some games that I thought might fit in with a Halloween theme. Played through every game in the Legacy of Kain series all the way through for the first time, then MediEvil & MediEvil II. Two days ago I replayed Zombies ate my Neighbors all in one sitting and now I'm replaying Luigi's Mansion to tie things up for the month.

Finally got around to finishing God of War I. Beat it yesterday afternoon and spent 2.5 hours just to beat "Challenge of the Gods". Why the hell is #8 harder than #10, when #10 is just an RNG fest!?
Regardless, I start on the "speedrun" tomorrow for more trophies. I didn't realize how easy it was to Plat GoW1.

Get to Act 2~3 as fast as you can, it picks up from there. The beginning is infuriatingly slow.

Just beat Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 on hard. Now going to beat #3 again on crushing, pomegranate is intense. Also playing MW3, which is pretty fun, I guess.
