Sorry for double posting, but some news you guys may be interested about....

Monkey King Patch Larger Than Normal (Note from me: 300MB)

We're making quite a few changes in the upcoming patch to League of Legends, and we wanted to let you know ahead of time that the patch is going to be larger than normal. You see, in this update we revisited some old favorites and gave them a more extensive overhaul than usual. As a result, the incoming patch will be around 300 MB in size. The wait may be a bit longer than you're used to, but rest assured it will be worth it.

Here are some of the more major changes coming in the new patch:

* A complete set of new animations for Janna, the Storm's Fury
* New animations for Tryndamere, the Barbarian King, along with a champion remake
* New animations for Kayle, the Judicator, along with a champion remake
* A suite of balance changes
* And, of course, Wukong, the Monkey King!


Consider this your fair warning that the next patch will be filled with awesome! Don't be alarmed by the size of the update when you launch your client after maintenance.

Oh damn. I'm not sure if I like Chinese Janna or Hextech Janna more.

Also, I'm starting to think the single most important thing about team composition is packing a pomegranateload of CC. The harder the CC you bring, the better. After that, a decent damage/tankiness comp is just icing on the cake.

Got my pomegranate unbelievably wrecked today by Jungle Alistar, Taric, Swain, GP, and J4. Granted I had some fucking stupid teammates...
Stomped in a game where my team was Amumu, TF, Annie, Corki, Twitch. Their team also packed healthy CC, but their Amumu was a joke. How do you think counter jungle Amumu went over? I'll answer. Poorly.

Overall the patch seems good. Nerfs on champions that were expected to be hit, although Udyr and GP are still OP as pomegranate!

Singed isn't OP in any shape or form. He's super tanky, and his damage is mostly from his poison. Don't chase him and ignore him in team fights and you're golden.

I swear....

Wukong's Crushing Blow's description sounds similar to Nasus's Siphoning Strike. Though his skill descriptions tell me he's more of an melee/bruiser/off-tank champ.

And yay for the "selecting random can bypass banned champs and allow you to get it!" bug. Luckily for me, I have seen no one abuse it in ranked in regards to people that I play with and against, but I've seen tons of SSes about that in the forums.

And lol @ Annie getting toned down a bit...

And GP didn't get affected too much at all! >_>
