I spent 2 hours downloading Maple today (wtp it's 6 GB now?!) and visited Bera and GAZED.
Kind of sad to say I got bored within 30 minutes, and only stayed to say hello to people.

Woke up still drunk from last night and dragged myself to the lab at 8 in the morning to complete an experiment and hung around until 3. My grad student and I then went to the Indiana/Michigan game together, walked in at kickoff and got seats in row 22! They were really close, I've only ever sat in the 50s+ and we were with all the other neuroscience grad students so I had the chance to meet them all. Game was incredible and I almost froze to death, but now I'm studying for my next round of midterms

Im kinda bummed about it, but its also kind of whatevs, I liked her, but there wasnt a huge connection built yet, and she is determined that we stay friends, best friends even. Only had one midterm and pretty sure I got 100% on it (or at least close to it).
Wait, the semester's half over already? I can deal with that. The last day for one of my classes is November 28th, pineapple yeah :3
Also, it's snowing back in my hometown, which makes me glad it doesn't snow too often where I am now.

So I got an 85 on the Calculus 3 midterm. I honestly thought I bombed that first part, but part 2 was really easy. I celebrated tonight by getting a good meal from Whataburger. Also, I am finally getting a check from my Aunt's, who passed away over a year ago, estate. They finally finished it all, so now I can treat myself to a nice tablet and about 5 or 6 months of no car payments.

So, I'm in a room with six guys and one bathroom, right? There's someone in it preeeeetty much 24/7. I typically get up an hour - hour and a half before my classes start so I have time to get ready and eat breakfast, and I usually don't have time to eat breakfast (gotta wait for the bathroom to open).
I also pride myself on cutting down tremendously the time it takes me to get ready, because with Crohn's it can take a while. Today was one of my faster days, I was in there for maybe 10 minutes and one of my suitemates wakes up and decides he gets the bathroom right then and there (which they all do that, oh my fucking god side tangent)

When the bathroom door is closed, that means SOMEONE IS IN THERE. Especially when YOU WATCH THEM WALK IN AND CLOSE THE FUCKING DOOR. What makes you think it is OK to KNOCK like you aren't sure if someone is in there???????? That pomegranate is ANNOYING. I have my business to do and I know other people have to use it. pineapple off.

So of course I tell him I'm going to be a few minutes. Kid sits outside the door and fucking COMPLAINS. "Can't even brush my teeth in this fucking dorm." "god fucking damnit bryan you're always in the fucking bathroom." "can't even shave. this is fucking pissing me off."
Guess what, pimento?! You shouldn't even be in this dorm! This is honor's college housing and you aren't in the honor's college! We honor's kids have to go through extra hoops and events to stay in this housing. Don't even know why you're here in the first place. Stop complaining.
And guess what! I've had to go to class unkempt because, that's right, YOU WERE IN THE BATHROOM!
I don't decide that I'm better than you and the second I wake up I deserve the bathroom. I don't knock unless it's the middle of the day and I actually don't know if someone is in there (since one kid still closes the door when he leaves). I just suck it up like a college student should and accept there will be days like that when you're living with six guys.
So like the mature adult I am I stood in the bathroom doing absolutely nothing until he stormed off for class before leaving.
