They really do bring up that point a lot, even in another stream I'm watching right now by Sargon; South America has NOTHING on any of this. Most of Europe has NOTHING on any of this. Asia flat doesn't care because it doesn't affect their game markets. Mainly though, South America has absolutely nothing, not even cursory glances at it, to the extent that some people down there are still just now finding out about this entire thing that started back in fucking August.

There is actually some really anti-gamergate articles in the latin media, mostly from Brazil and Mexico, however the amount of people involved in South America is indeed in the couple houndreds at most.

Personally, I feel like that's better than what I was given the impression of; my take on it is, if one person is picked up for pro-GG and ten against it, it's a victory, because those people who chose anti didn't do their research and took the media at face value. That type of person would have been, frankly, a bad ally to begin with, and would eventually become some of the people that GG is starting to self-police against. People are much more reasonable when they support a cause and actually UNDERSTAND the cause, they are more logical and less likely to go on crazy rants of "what they think this movement is" at a whim. All of the streams I've seen thusfar have had people from that entire huge area saying there had been zero articles even remotely related to this.
Numbers no longer really matter on the anti-side, they have no real impact on what we are doing at this point, because we are going directly to the advertisers and (very soon) will start going to the FTC as well if that hasn't already started. What are they going to do, spam the emails of advertisers in support of the gamejourno sites? That would likely crash their mail servers and piss them off even more, making them even more likely to drop their hosting on the problematic sites.

This is about a month old, but this is probably one of Sargon's hardest hitting video. The bay area needs to be hit be a meteor, it's the focal point of SJWs, and it's so ingrained into the area that it's actually the educators that are indoctrinating kids; it's only going to get worse as time goes on and all of those kids grow up to echochamber the retardation, worse and worse as each generation passes by. I've heard so many people on Sargon's streams that are from HARDcore religious families, and even they are amazed at the levels of cultism that these people display; they put the pastors of orthodox churches to shame. Sargon's favorite term for them is "cultural marxists", and it really is a very good definition from a technical standpoint.

Oh yeah, and just to let you know, PandoDaily is based in Silicon Valley, further proving my point that the San Francisco area is the worst place in this country. Except their list includes, among many Gamergate supporters, the chairman of IGDA Puerto Rico, accounts with zero tweets, and KFC. Yes, THAT KFC, which has now been endorsed as the 'official' restaurant of Gamergate.
They later had to backpedal and add 'and their followers' to their original statement before removing it for now, completely ignoring how the antis are the ones affecting the mental health of Gamergate supporters while claiming they need this blocklist against harassment.
I wonder if Kate Edwards regrets endorsing this list since a lawsuit may be incoming.

For the most part it's why I've stopped really talking about it... At this point it's just both sides endlessly yelling at each other and soaking in the drama. I have seen no progress from either side... and by PROGRESS I mean an understanding and willingness to compromise, not progress as in "one less company giving x website ad support", or "haha we made this person lose their job because of their views that we don't agree with". It's just dragging on at this point. Inb4 poms left and right.

No compromises will come until they are torn down so completely that the only direction left is up. At this point they are too vested in this to admit they are wrong and they WON'T until they have no other choice; even then, it's possible that many of the larger ones like Gawker will simply watch their business burn to the ground and do nothing productive to stop it. Politicians won't budge on their viewpoints and refuse to change even if it destroys them in the process, but SJWs make borderline zealots of extremism in the political sphere look like perfectly reasonable people. The reason for this is, politicians have a sense of self preservation, SJWs do not, they will argue their point in the face of overwhelming fact in any situation; the video of Sargon's where the husband described his brainwashed wife is a perfect example of how they treat EVERYTHING they disagree with, to the extent that, when something starts to truly undermine their dogma, they will physically cover their ears like a child just to block it out. That's not something a person who is willing to listen to facts or even simple reason would EVER do; that's what a spoiled child does, and that's what they are, spoiled manchildren. Or I guess in this case, it should be called "womanchildren" moreso than that.

1) Pro-Gamergate cheers on sites like The Escapist that allow both sides of the discussion since they've adopted an ethics code.
2) Anti-Gamergate has made a list of the worst harassers that includes pineappling KFC and the chairman of IGDA Puerto Rico. On top of that, you'll see based on the appeal process that it's a kangaroo court; so long as you support Gamergate, you're considered guilty.
To be perfectly honest, you're possibly a little loco if you think that the side automatically labeling 0 tweet accounts and a fast food chain as harassers somehow has a point.
Also [MENTION=69]Lozmaster[/MENTION]; please tell me how the side that somehow thinks that using a blocklist based on the so-called 'worst harassers' which includes a neutral journalist and a prominent member of the Gamergate harassment patrol to label their followers as harassers is reasonable. You should see the hilarity that's come from neutrals finding out they were on a block list for whatever reason and shaking their heads at the opposition because they're just that insane.
And yes, if you don't think falsely being labeled as bulliers/harassers/terrorists et al. can cause damage to one's mental health particularly when a number of Gamergate supporters have endured bullying or have survived abuse, I don't think your opinion is valid.

Uhh... please try and find where I even remotely hinted at that in any single post I've made in this thread. I'm 100% for GG, it's just starting to get old at this point. I know who the SJW fanatics are, the websites they utilize and associate with, and don't give them clicks by visiting their articles anymore. That's all that really needs to be done at this point. Oh yeah, that part I get and will apologize for the gross misunderstanding. I'm not going to deny that talking about who's harassing who is unproductive or that much of GG does go into banter, but there's a limit to how much you can constructively do once your e-mails are sent and research is done...hence, banter.
It's not entirely useless right now though since the latest IGDA gaffe has caught the attention of neutrals again, so long as what is said isn't just a repeat of the harassment Olympics. There's more than enough cases of ethics fail to be convincing to passersby, and people should keep those articles and proof handy rather than point fingers at the people intent on plugging their ears.

That statement you decided to highlight and reply to isn't so funny when considering how at least one dev has had his family harassed due to false accusations of sexual harassment, and even less so when the kind of behaviors SJWs employ are the same as that of abusers: They seek control over people's thoughts and threaten them whenever they step out of line, all while claiming to have the moral high ground.

Pro-GG people can be pimentos but being an pimento is a very different thing from outright branding a mass of people as pedophiles, which includes survivors of child abuse. Furthermore, blatant idiocy like claiming people sent you a lot of death threats when it can be debunked easily while journalists like this guy are talking about playing pinatas with white men who commit suicide are a great example of why I can't take any of their harassment claims seriously.

Is strictly not true once you consider that the IGDA spans many countries, however much of a joke they are at this point. And given that devs are already deciding not to join organizations that tar them based on who they follow, I'd suspect that the intention of the list isn't all that laughable after all.
Serious question: Are you being obtuse? The way that list was made is a joke, the maker is a joke, the organization is a joke by now but the implications of the list isn't a joke. Show some proof of all this supposed harassment GG is doing to justify it being a hotter topic over the massive corruption in the press and I'll pay attention.
