This caused the game to go from very close to completely one-sided. Basically a 4v5. No sane person could justify a one-sided game as fun, especially on the losing end when trying to play solo que.

Zyra is arguably still the strongest ap mid for multiple reasons. Just not free wins.
Wouldn't be surprised if khazix got nerfed. His lategame is probably the best of any assassin, better than diana (damage).

Karthus, Ryze, Orianna, Anivia, Gragas, and Katarina all have something to say about that. Karthus has insane sustained damage and global presence without moving from his lane, Ryze has great damage combined with not having to bother with skillshots and is quite tanky because of Frozen Heart and RoA, Orianna has really good damage plus a great ult plus a lot of utility, Anivia just has so much fucking utility and potential in the right hands (froggen for example), Gragas has an insane ult to reset teamfights or screw up an enemy's positioning plus tons of damage and still is a douche in lane, and Katarina just puts out tons of damage especially with a Morgana support.

Her damage isnt the problem. It's her survability which sucks. She doesn't have a built-in escape like gragas and her base speed sucks. She's also really squishy without def items. TLDR; she gets tons of kills but tons of deaths too.

The utility and damage she brings to a team is insane. Her damage is definitely at the top tier of the aoe charts.
She fits into almost team due to having so much synergy with her cc. As aforementioned, amumu combos incredibly well with her.

No its not. Any champion with a gap closer can bypass the distance you get with your snare easily and you usually don't waste your ult on escaping.

Yes, you'll die more than champions who have blinks but it's not a lose-game condition. Good positioning negates most/ all of her mobility problem. If zyra had a blink she'd be the best champion in the game hands down.

Also in team fights you should be behind the tankys so you can throw that cc at the other team, in truckloads of course.[/COLOR]

To add, if characters with gap closers and burst are being a problem (ex fizz, akali, kassadin) build Zhonya's and laugh as they hop into the centre of your team with nobody to burst down.

I had bought Anivia...for reasons.
We lost, badly.
The worst part is that it was a beginner level AI bot 5v5.
I have no desire to pick it back up D: unless I get really, really bored.

It's expected to not do well until you get some practice in. We were all the same way, except for ex-dota players.
