Personally, I really like Enticer. The damage is good and the suction effect is nice but I can see why some don't like using in their playstyle. As you level more, the mp drain from MW and WMB up becomes less of a burden. You could dump some qp into mp regen and spirit to help with mp problems as you level. Wave Radiation is a fantastic grouping skill. 1 point in it is more or less required for utility. Leveling it gives more damage and reduces the cooldown.

There is an Asura guide on DFONexus that can give you some ideas for good skills and final builds.

Ooh on the topic of helping people awaken, I need like 4 of ea cube and like 20 hardeners if someone would be so nice as to trade/give them to me. The damage percentage seems good but I see it as "can you deal more than x% damage by the time you finish charging Deadly Enticer".

Personal preference though.

From what i understand deadly enticer is charged based on how many targets are in its range not time
